I don't care much for other forums in general. I hang out here, I follow the stuff here, I have no need for other forums, especially when everyone I like is here. And honestly, if they don't bother to fully research the material, then yeah, I don't really care. Let them do their own thing while we do ours.

Hence why I'm not bothered nor do I care for Charizard vs WarGreymon no Lucarion vs Renamon anymore
 
Although I can't blame some people for focusing on the anime when I think it's the medium most people have the most experience with but I can understand how some fleel that way here as well so I guess both are kinda right in a way
 
Yes, but when one makes files based on a series like Digimon or even Pokemon, they have to examine all sources, not just the most familiar one.
 
I don't think so, really. Pretty sure that technically, the most "canon" are the Tamagotchi spinoffs as they were the first (though this is me more thinking legally than logically). But I do believe that the anime holds higher...value than the other media sans a few games due to its popularity. Like how Super Mario is more "canon" than Mario Party despite the series not having one.

Note, I'm using canon as loosely as I'll ever use it, hence quotation marks. When I say canon, it's more akin to taken at face value.

No true. The anime is no more canon than the card games as they are all seperate universes. If anything were to be "primary" canon, it would be the Databooks. Or people could just read my blog....https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Dragonmasterxyz/Digimon_Canonicity
 
Even adaptations of games and anime are considered canon. Which means Monodramon defeating ZeedMillenniummon in one hit is canon...somewhere.

So many it's confusing. Digimon Adventure got two comic adaptations, one by Dark Horse and the other by Panini Comics. The Panini Comics series adapted up to Tamers I think. Adventure also got a Manga adaptation, a PSP game (which is pretty great by the way) and a lot of weird stuff. Like a crossover with Angela Andaconda of all things. Frontier got a Manwha adaptation too, which is hard to find. The anime also has a ton of game adaptations, like the Battle Spirit games and Tamer Medley.

Then you have the really obscure stuff. Like the British Magazine comics which adapted the Ryo Akiyama series a decade before they were given fan translations. The list goes on and on.
 
Also on what Dragon said earlier I don't blame him for not caring for those matches cause tons of people and shows have already done them so I can see why he'd want to focus on something else

Well, Crusader is what the West has like Digimon Heroes.

To begin with there is the Chronicle of Aegiomo which is the story of Aegiomon and his quest to become Jupitermon. In this we have the introduction of the Olympos Twelve, ILIAD and the Yggdrasil system. In addition we have again the Dark Area being quoted as nothing more than once.

In addition we have several extra missions that have a story of their own told in the page of Digimon Heroes and also in their facebook account. In them we have things like Dark Super Starmon having the power of a black hole and being quoted as unaffected by the effects of matter and space-time. In addition we have another mention of the Dark Area being a place without time and the beings of outside stand stopped in the time when they enter in the Dark Aera.
 
Basically nothing to major but mostly did there own Lucario vs Renemon and Pikachu vs Agumon and hade them stay in those forms and made both Pokémon win it probably isn't a two big of a deal but I never know hey people will react to this stuff at times
