Dig Dug VS The Thief

The question behind this debate is this. Can Dig Dug manage to lodge his harpoon into The Thief in order to blow him up and manage to get past The Thief's illusion magic at the same time? Now, Taizo tends to be pretty aware of his surroundings, as can be seen in the game when he takes on his opponents, so he could probably attempt to adapt to it and try to get the upper hand on the Thief, but the Thief is also a stealth expert, so Taizo would have a hard time tracking him down before the Thief comes up to attack.

So, in the end, I will actually give this to the Thief, because despite the fact that Dig Dug has an advantage with the extended range of his harpoon, the fact that the Thief has access to Illusion Magic and is a Stealth Expert means that he can do a lot of damage to Dig Dug in a cloak and dagger style of attack before Taizo could even locate him and try to impale him.

Winner: The Thief (Zork)
