Density of the Rock?

What is the density of the Rock? because I have seen many calculations using different densities.

Usually it's anywhere between 1.6 to 3.5 g/cm^3, which gives us an average of 2.55 g/cm^3. We usually use this or we use the densities of other rocks which are in the similar ballpark.

But really, it depends on the rock type.

Basically try to guess a more specific rock type
Something like a meteor will have a density of 3-4g/cm
But if it’s a mountain use densities for stuff like Sandstone, Granite or Basalt
Etc
