Re-check his profile : Demigra is 2-c only after prep, in a standard scenario, he is 3-A. STTGL, no problem. It has better stats (except maybe speed but it won't matter due to STTGL's size) also it kinda counter-hax Demigra in particular : Multi-Universal range so teleporting it to another timeline/universe is meaningless, Omnipresential attack equals no running away/multiplication/illusion, no mind control either since it hasn't got "a mind" and is literally "a manifestation of sheer willpower".
EDIT :
Demigra has only one winning scenario : go back in time and kill them in the past. Unlikely to happen without prior informations and against STTGL brutal and active nature. Also STTGL has reality and probability manipulation, I don't know if it can counter the effects of Time travelling.
STTGL can hit you even if your in another timeline. they`r ******* HAX AF. they ****** up mecha`s whom tried to hide in past/future so they busted a whole in fabric of time-space and killed them.
It is because people see a 2-C DB character and don't realise the meaning of "with prep". Just like with Beerus then Whis when they were introduced, there is a hype. And the Shin Budokai Janemba wave might be coming soon.
