DEATHBATTLE! Accuracy Scale [Part 5]

And as a result Ichigo upscales.

Tell me. Has the discussion concluded?

They used movie Kiryu and the game version is so wildly inconsistent with the movies that DB would have never considered it

Rule 4 of Death Battle: "Characters with multiple incarnations will be composites combining the best aspects of their various incarnations, unless said incarnation is drastically different from other incarnations. If a specific incarnation of a character is chosen, the canon used will most likely be the most popular depiction."

Again, it's too inconsistent, they wouldn't consider it

I did, they used comic Kiryu as supporting evidence. Let's analyze that, shall we?

The comic is Godzilla: Oblivion as far as I can tell, and we have a profile on this site for the Mini-Kiryus that accompany him in the comic (they're shown in the video as well). Those little robots can harm Godzilla in that comic, and he survived 4 nukes. He's 7-B in that comic. So that Kiryu is even weaker than the movies. They only really used the comics to determine speed since the movies don't have many solid speed feats.

Once again, they only consider side material that isn't canon if they firmly believe the canon version can do it too. A Kiryu that can battle universe busters is not even close to the movie version. We play this thread by DB's rules, not our own. Kiryu still loses

Actually IDW Kiryu scales from a Black Hole feat stated by author himself that black hole possessed 80% mass of the sun. Which translates into Solar System level.

Second, Kiryu from IDW comics is bigger and stronger than the movie version (Not counting the Mini-Mechagodzillas units that belongs to other IDW continuity), turning him into a Composite.

Third, Death Battle made use of comic and videogame incarnations of Dragonzord, that is called Composite.

@Apex

1. According to this site, IDW Godzilla is 6-B at best (here ), and since Kiryu is comparable to him, he's that rating. There is no mention for an IDW Kiryu that survived a black hole here. If you have the comic page and would like to make a CRT for it, feel free. But until then, Kiryu is still weaker.

2. Let's say for sake of argument that they made our version of a Composite Kiryu for comics and movies and additionally the black hole feat is accepted and IDW Kiryu is 4-B. That still doesn't matter since Kiryu in either form is Supersonic at best and has a 2 hour time limit. Dragonzord is MFTL in combat and has no such battery limit. Kiryu using its weapons and the AZC only makes his time limit lessen. Even if Dragonzord can't kill him, all he has to do is survive until Kiryu runs out of battery and he wins, which would be laughably easy since he's so much faster.

3. Two points:

First, DB compositing doesn't work like VSBW composites. With the wiki, our rules state composite means "throw in every single form of the character we have info on, no matter how far above any specific version of a character may be to the more popular one. One can break a solar system while the common one can only break cities? Doesn't matter." DB compositing is "Okay, let's stick with the most popular ones, but we can use supporting evidence from other sources if our feats from the canon source are limited. Hey, one version did this thing. It seems reasonable that the normal version can do that to, let's use it."

Second, just because DB throws in images or clips from side sources doesn't mean they're using feats from those sources. Going back to Dragonzord, they used that video game footage to better illustrate the Fin Slash and Stomp Attack, both of which are rarely used in the show. Same episode, in the gag where Boomstick is playing with the knife, there's a comic panel of GR on the screen in the back. It's just providing a visual parallel for the joke. Point is, they're using various images for clips for entertainment value most of the time, it doesn't automatically mean that they're using a specific type of composite.

-Guts vs Nightmare (Berserker Armor Guts vs Night Terror)
We still need to sort these matches

That was Godzilla vs Gamera and way before they figured out how strong Thor actually was. Kiryu had no such comparisons and they stuck to the movies and comics for him

I'll start looking over some of the matches that changed because of DB's "Final Form" rule:

Mob vs Tatsumaki (???% Mob vs Tornado): While their AP is comparable, Tornado is faster (Mob's lightning wasn't the return stroke, so it's slower), she has more experience fighting psychics, has hax equal to Mob, and can output more than Mob's shield can handle, as shown with the broccoli. Results shouldn't change.

Mega Man Battle Royale (Super Adaptor (Classic) vs Ultimate Armor (X) vs Volnutt vs Hub Form (Battle Network) vs Red Joker (Star Force)): Absolutely nothing changes. EXE waves his hand and everyone is dead.

Yes. Though the gap between each Mega Men in stats (most notably between Geo & X) is smaller now.

Natsu vs Ace is still Right, Bad. Base Natsu is unquantifiably below that but shouldn't be far below as he's comparable to other characters on his level so Ace wouldn't win either way.

If I remember right, the only part of that ordering that has any debate around it is Geo vs X. Everything else is very clear cut.

Kirby vs. Majin Buu should also still be right.
Well, they didn't exactly give the best analysis, I mean Buu can still regenerate and I'm more than sure that the Sun wouldn't kill Buu

And are we talking manga or anime Buu?

I guess anime? Don't quote me on that one. Though Kirby has a crapton of hax at his disposal to put Buu down anyway.

Anywho, I have a question for Shredder vs. Silver Samurai. Were his 1987 Cartoon feats the main focus of his analysis? Because he might possibly get upgraded to Relativistic+ via this approved calc. Granted, I want to start a discussion as to whether it's an outlier or not. But you get me.

Well to be fair our current 87 profiles are pretty much barren (same could be said for the live action movie because they're 9-C yet Shredder was able to survive getting crushed by a trash compactor)

I still have a problem with Raiden being able to cut adamantium.
They legit showed a scan of a lady with the same thing (basically) and she was able to get through adamantium, so why can't Raiden?

That doesn't make any sense.
Wolverine can take hit's from samurai using his Tachyon Field.

"Tachyon Field: Ability to generate a tachyon energy field from within his body. Though he can focus this energy through anything, he typically focuses this field through his sword; allowing it to cut through almost any substance."

Tachyon Field

Tachyon particles have imaginary mass that moves really fast, so he basically surrounds his sword with an ultra-thin, ultra-fast chainsaw blade to let him cut through stuff with pressure.

Antarctic Vibranium, which has been proven to liquidate Adamantium, to quote the Marvel WIki, "...emanates vibrations which cause the atomic and molecular bonds in nearby metals of other kinds to weaken, which results in the liquefaction of nearby solid metals."

HF Blades does something similar by forcibly causes electrons to separate, leaving a gap for the sword to go through.

So Adamantium standing up to Tachyons because of their dense and stable molecular nature makes sense. They're really tiny and fast, but they're not strong enough to break the bond. Basically a really fast spitball being stopped by a brick wall. However, the HF Blade forcibly undoing the molecular and atomic bonds would allow the blade to cut through it.

Also, let's say Raiden can't truly cut through the Adamantium. He can cut at the gaps inbetween his joints and sever his limbs and head since only the bones are covered in Adamantium, not the muscle holding them together. Since that practice is a gameplay portion of Revengeance, Raiden's not unfamiliar with precise dismantling of human bodies.

This has been brought up multiple times, and it's the same argument every time. Red vs Blue is made by Rooster Teeth, so them saying Carolina wins is Word of God.

Tachyon Field

Sounds more like a septima ability than anything
