Death of the Endless (DC) VS LEM (I/O)

I won't say anything rn since I don't know a thing about the verse currently, but I'll probably be reading I/O in some months from now too (as much as I've heard about the plot being Q U A L I T Y), just to make sure.

Can an author explain a cosmology through characters? Or not?

Answer yes or not.
Yes, but not if they're visibly not certain that what they're saying is actually true.

"So you are gonna favor writing who use the crappy writing style of dead pan stating shit instead of using characters to speak about their view of the world for exposition?"

TFW every single piece of fiction that makes usage of an omniscient narrator has shitty writing now.

"When Mamazuku from JJBA spends 17 pages..."

False equivalence. And even then, if the speculation is outright shown as doubtful, not given further proof, and at no point in the story is it confirmed, it isn't true. This is obviously not the case in JJBA.

There are visibly certain statements:

I mean, even if I/O indeed has infinite higher dimensions and characters that transcend them, the scans still don't indicate anything above a higher degree of High 1-B

@A6

Why are you responding to a complain of a lack of context by removing even more context.

The scans you posted are already on the Verse Page, except now you deliberatedly removed all instances of characters displaying tangible doubt.

I mean, even if I/O indeed has infinite higher dimensions and characters that transcend them, the scans still don't indicate anything above a higher degree of High 1-B

There are infinity layers, not just dimensions. Every layer contains:

1. Additional dimensions (for different time axis and parallel worlds):

I-o-37

I-o-40

I-o-41

I-o-47

2. Cyberspace, which equals real space:

I-o-61

3. Some afterlife world, which bound only by quantum theory:

I-o-28

And from higher layers perspective all layers below are just fiction:

I-o-62

There are even a video in VN with a demonstration how it works:

Io r2
Io r2

No matter how many layers you add, it is never getting out of High 1-B. 1-A requires you to transcend the concept altogether.

Iirc it was stated they transcend the hierarchy which is equivalent to 1-A. In the case of I/O where they are dimension like differences. Similar to Umineko where they transcend the hierarchy of stories or books or whatever

Not that you accept anyway. Strange how verses seem to end up downgraded when they go against DC characters. Let's just hope my head doesn't end up on the ban block like others have
