Yeah Super sons is a great opportunity on a lot of fronts. Especially a movie geared towards kids could prove to be a massive box office success. Currently with Skydance wanting to buy WB, DCU could get shelved if anything flops.
If I'm being honest, I want the Batfamily to come later. I want movies with the focus on Batman, at least at first. That's one of the things that annoyed the hell out of me in the DCAMU. We got one film where Batman was THE focus. Just one. All the other supposed Batman films (meaning with the focus on Gotham so Justice League Dark doesn't count) were more about the Batfamily with Batman going along the way or just playing the role of side protagonist. I want the opposite. I want Batman to be the main protagonist and the Batfamily to be the side protagonists. That's also why I love the Long Halloween adaptations. No Robin, no Batgirl. We start with Bats as the focus and he stays that way even with allies introduced later. Now it's not that I don't want the Batfamily or that they just be there to be there with no important role, they should definitely be important, but to me, Batman must be the main protagonist.
I'm a trunks, medium length ear, Blue and Grey batsuit, with yellow around the bat symbol enjoyer. Its my ideal batman and I hope this time it isn't a super armored suit like all the othersOk but let's ask the important question here. Trunks or No Trunks for batsuit ?
My Opinion - Superman works with Trunks because you can see Clark decided to wear it to look friendly and like a wrestler. However Bruce wearing trunks makes no sense. One it doesn't fit his personality and he is supposed to be scary to criminals. And the Batsuit isn't put together by his Mom (because she is dead), it's one of the best low profile armor tech in DC costing millions of dollars.
So my solution is to color it in a way that it looks a trunk while still being a part of a high tech bodysuit. Like how Arkham Origin suit does it.
He is not wearing trunks but the color and the fabric separation gives it the shape of one.
Also the suit needs to look plated and high quality to justify bullet resistance and durability.
That would be almost Clooney level of campy. Also what others ? The only Armored suit in LA is Batman 2022. DCEU has a very fabric suit while TDK has a spandex style suit. Arkham has armored suit and they are some of the best batman suits ever made.
The Nolan movies were an armored padded suit, Batfleck had the metal armored suit vs superman and in Flash, and then Battinson had a full armored suit too, I don't want that anymore fornthe DCU

I hope DC movies reach the level of Marvel, so with more competition both companies have make good movies and TV Shows for audience to watch them.
Current DCU Superman is extremely weak anyway, Gunn himself stated he was kind of watered down to make it more believable he could evolve in a world full of metahumans and still have actual challenge and he can't destroy planets so current Supes gets nuked I think. Comics, it depends on the version
Well for now, it's staying at low level superpowers. Maybe the Paradise Lost series will introduce more feats since it will deal with the Amazons and I really, really, REALLY hope we'll FINALLY have a story where the Greek Gods actually have a big role in the general verse, not just the usual American Gods deal of "they need worship to stay powerful so by modern era they're weak" or the DCEU's "they got killed in the backstory". Green Lantern and Supergirl might grant interesting stuff. Also, Man of Tomorrow will probably (confirmed? I'm not sure it was but whatever) have Brainiac as the main villain so it will almost definitely amp the game
