Saw the movie. 9/10. Dio get your ass off the throne of pettiest, it goes to Lex Luthor now.
Notable feats are his speed being able to zip around from antartica to metropolis in couple of minutes, lifting a Kaiju and last but not the least, Overcoming the pull off a blackhole with his super breath while heavily weakened.

but nah I do imagine better feats as we move forward but even so starting with 8-B+ and several High 8-C support feats with consistently good speed and LS is fine by meIg for reference from other live action Superman's debuts he isn't far off from the lower end stuff the others have in their debuts
Superman and Lois episode 1 of S1 started with 8-A, Class G, and MHS+ feats
Man of Steel was 7-C+ to high 6-A, Sub-Rel to Rel+, and Class K to Z
Smallville was like 9-B, Subsonic ~ Supersonic, and Peak Human in its debut
so I mean ya know its all about presentation, I don't mind a tier 8 Superman but I don't see any reason why he can't get any higher as things move forward (he already has scaling metas that are above the 8-B+ in this movie)

yeah it blows and its further than what people make it out to be, if you want tier 5 there is a meta where since blue beetle is light canon if we consider the opening scene where a green lantern impacts the scarab with the scarab blasting a planet away after ricocheting from the impact. You can use that off site to scale it to green lantern thus upscaling Superman to Brown Dwarf level (on wiki the best you could get is probably possibly but I don't think it works since Gunn clearly said he ain't near planet level)

Oh we are defeintly getting good feats in later installment. Gunn wanted to keep this movie closer to emotions rather than action but if you see his other movies, he enjoys big spectacles just as much.
He does cosmic stuff pretty well take Ego for example or the celestials. New Gods and so on is where I would put my bet on. Plus Lanterns will most likely be set in space so if they fly around space we can look at a very easy MFTL+ upgrade here.

Nope Lanterns is a primarily earth based series for this first season so I wouldn't count on it unless we do get random space action but regardless I do feel ya

I don't think we won't see Oa atleast once in a green lantern series. Maybe more of that Dimensional Imp stuff. Like creatures from Space or other Dimensions.
I gotta say regardless of Superman's feats, Lex literally got a basket of Top tier feats in his sector.
- Biological knowledge for creating clones and kaiju's.
- Creating a Pocket Universe and nanites.
- Manipulation of the whole world against Superman with social and political manuvering (and acutally a good rational plan. not just "It was all part of my plan" credit stealing BS like Sister Sage)
- Not to mention the martial arts and tactical knowledge for coming up with 2500 moves for every scenario against Superman.
The pocket universe feat is so good we are going to Extraordinary genius levels (maybe, I was never sure how intelligence scaling worked)

Talking about earlier movies. Technically Blue Beetle is the first DCU movie. As it is canon to DCU. Meaning a Green lantern damaged the Beetle, said Beetle tanked it's own Brown Dwarf star level attack. Superman is stronger than Guy, a green lantern.
Thus, henceforth proven Superman > Brown Dwarf level
