Since they're writting about Wonder Woman, I have a question: can we FINALLY have a WW story where the mythological stuff, especially the Gods, aren't killed off in the backstory, weakened or just scaled down to simply be villains like any other? Can we have a story where the Gods are the central piece and pretty much all-powerful, with their importance and power being clearly demonstrated, established and shown?
I know I might anger some people but to me, the main attraction in WW's lore is the mythological stuff. I don't care about Veronica Cale, I don't care about Dr Poison, I don't care about Diana stopping modern thugs or villains (except in big events). I want her to face Medusa and mythological monsters, I want her to have to deal with the machinations of Ares and not fighting him because he's too powerful, I want Zeus, Hera and co to show spectacular feats of power. I don't want down-to-earth deities ala Percy Jackson dressed in modern clothing who shake continents at best, I want mythologically powerful gods in ancient robes and sandals who see destroying planets as so below them it's unworthy of their time. Simply put, I want a more mythology-focused Wonder Woman story. And one where the Gods are still around

Bruh yes, one of the things I despise about modern WW.
Bring back the clay origin, it felt more unique. Characters in a Greek mythology setting are almost always the child of Zeus, it's kinda played out.
Also hope they get rid of the Sword and Shield, not entirely, but mostly. Like she'll have it when fighting robots and monsters.
It's kind of a weird thing with modern WW, she kinda randomly started using a sword all the time, when growing up, I remember she always used her fists, and only occasionally used weapons.

I don't have a particular problem with her being a child of Zeus probably since it's so common it just feels natural for me to have that in Greek Mythology
For the sword and shield, I agree, she should use it only against robots, monsters or supremely powerful foes like mythological warriors.

I don't think he will outright be planet level but at the very least, I would love it if he was around country level. Like, yeah he can't outright obliterate the Earth with a punch but he can still raze Greece or France almost pretty much instantly and do it again with another country so it's pretty much the same result

I don't see him actually touching tier 5 or at least not anytime soon at least, Gunn is staying away from that level of scale right now it seems

Novel had some decent feats. Not sure if they've been posted here already or not
Supersonic speed, microsecond perception, no-selling megawatt laser (likely over secs, they probably meant MJ), Supes>Justice Gang (though it was obv from common sense and prior statements from promotional and Gunn), Metallo (and Superman himself) no-sell his HV, which behaves and reflects like real light (here and here).
