I doubt it. Officially, Darkspine Sonic is less durable than his Super form, who has Planet Level to Large Planet Level durability. This makes Darkspine Sonic something of a glass cannon; while he can dish out universal-level attacks, he can't really take them, at least not many of them.

Didn't he tanked one when Alf Layla wa-Layla changed everything?

It's depend on who's faster. Kubik is a cube being, Meaning he is Massively FTL.

This is where things become confusing. Darkspine Sonic was taking attacks from Alf-Layla-Wa-Layla, but every one of them damages him and makes him lose rings. Compared to Super Sonic, where there are only a handful of bosses that have even a single attack that can damage Super Sonic. I count only three bosses across the entire Sonic series that actually are capable of damaging Super form characters and making them lose rings. Thus, there seems to be a general idea among Sonic fans that Darkspine Sonic lacks the durability that his Super form provides.
