As for your second point. Even if it is different, that's not a reason to say it can't be used in vs fights. It's like when people try to argue that genjutsu wouldn't work outside of the naruto verse due to other verses not having chakra. An argument that is rarely ever accepted. Saying that 0.5 second wouldn't work outside of Baki is no different than that for the exact same reasons.

Well that's fair. But I like to imagine that has something with verse equalization. Although the chakra thing makes sense, I feel like that probably comes a lot in topics where the characters either have supernatural energy in them and might be contested. Not to mention the feat is not contradicted by real life.

Much like the Optical nerve being on a person's neck in Baki. It's hard to input on verses that don't follow the same rules. This would be imo be more acceptable like chakra, if it wasn't such a contradiction with real life and logic.
