I noticed that the Outer Gods (not concerning Azathoth) have Type 5 Immortality, meaning that they absolutely cannot die at all by any means whatsoever. However it's even partially noted in Yog-Sothoth's profile that all of them will be destroyed along with the rest of reality when Azathoth wakes up. Is Type 5 really apporpriate for them?

This isn't to downgrade Azathoth, it's about the fact that the characters supposedly unable to die by any means will be killed when Azathoth wakes up.

Azathoth is Tier 0.

By the sheer definition of the tier, he's able to do anything he wants. It doesn't matter if a character can't die by any mean, since he is tier 0 he will be able to do it.

Again that would be mean that Type 5 Immortality would be limited to Tier 0, since otherwise, any Tier 0 could kill them so they aren't unkillable.

They will not technically be "destroyed". They will just become part of Azathoth, again. There is no sense of "self" for beings of this level, and in reuniting with Azathoth, they will still exist, but lack the specific forms they once had until it returns to sleep. That is of course implying it ever wakes up and does not simply will itself into a constant state of sleep. Since all things happen simultaneously and there is not even higher-dimensional time at that level, it is likely Azathoth exists as perpetually slumbering by its own will.

The Outer Gods "exist" beyond all concepts of existence and nonexistence. Everything there is simply reflects their will. They cannot be erased from existence, since existence itself is just a part of their will. There is no way whatsoever to kill them, and even in the EU, in which they are often subject to PIS or portrayed as much weaker in some cases, they've only ever been inconvenienced or sealed away from something.
