Awash on the shores of the beach nearby, Cthulhu overheard The Narrator explaining to the player that the only way that the curse could be truly lifted, and his power regained, was if Cthulhu became a true hero. And so began his quest...

Intelligence: Fairly high. Possesses lots of knowledge about the world, and seems able to deduce answers to his problems as needed.

Weaknesses: Unite techniques require the assistance of an ally to perform. Has a somewhat limited pool of MP with which to use techniques and magic. Can be somewhat overconfident. Some enemies become substantially more dangerous if afflicted with insanity.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Insane Blow: Strikes an enemy repeatedly, inflicting Insanity.
  • Deathblow: Targets one enemy for immense damage. A Combo finisher.
  • Insane Strength: Gains +10% physical power per insane enemy present.
  • Insane Magic: Gains +10% magical power per insane enemy present.
  • Fireball: Targets either a single enemy, a group of enemies, or all enemies, dealing fire damage.
  • Flame Strike: Deals physical/fire damage to a single foe.
  • Nightfall: Afflicts all enemies with insanity.
  • Curse: Afflicts insanity upon one enemy, and halves its defenses.
  • Tentacles: Summons a cluster of tentacles that either attack randomly at foes, at a group of foes, or all foes, dealing physical damage.
  • Lightning: Blasts opponents with a barrage of lightning that inflicts multiple hits, each at a random enemy.
  • Unstoppable: Heals himself. Resets the Combo counter. Minimal MP cost.
  • Dark Blast: Blasts a single target with dark energies. May also deal immense damage as a combo finisher, or inflict insanity.
  • Dark Strike: Deals physical/dark damage to a single foe.
  • Drain Strike: Deals physical damage to a single foe, siphoning away they HP to restore Cthulhu's.

  • MP Victory: Regains more MP after a victory.
  • Void: Attacks with a great void, dealing dark damage to all enemies. Significant MP cost.
  • Taunt: More likely than normal to be targeted by foes.
  • Berserk: Savagely assails foes, dealing several hits of physical damage targeting random foes.
  • Focus: Doubles spell power on the next turn only. Minimal MP cost.
  • Insane Death: Occasionally instantly kills insane enemies he hits.
  • H.P. Bane: Deals +50% damage to Lovecraftian-mythos monsters.
  • Brawn Assault: Unites the whole party to assail a single target for incredible physical damage. A Combo finisher. Costs significant MP.
  • Mystic Assault: Unites the whole party to assail a single target for incredible magical damage. A Combo finisher. Costs significant MP.
Unite Techniques are special techniques that acquire the assistance of a party member to perform. Some Cthulhu knows include:

  • Call Kraken (with Umi): Summons a kraken to attack all enemies every turn.
  • Fearless Charge (with Sharpe): Deals incredible physical damage to a single target, while also reducing both Cthulhu and Sharpe to 1 HP. A combo finisher.
  • Dark Spiral (with October): Blasts all enemies, dealing dark damage and inflicting insanity.
  • Tentacles! (with Paws): Both Cthulhu and Paws gain one additional attack with each basic attack made.
  • Yin and Yang (with Dacre): Both Cthulhu and Dacre gain +50% damage dealt with Holy/Dark attacks.
  • Rampage (with Ember): Deals high physical damage to several random targets.

Dialga is a Dragon/Steel-type Pokémon and a member of Sinnoh's Creation Trio, being the Master of Time. Time is said to flow for as long as Dialga's heart beats, and it is often treated as a deity in the Sinnoh region for its immense power.

Attack Potency: Multiverse level (Palkia and Dialga were creating a new universe and destroying the old one in the process. Can stabilize time with a mere heartbeat. Its birth made time begin to flow. Is a good amount stronger than Darkrai, even with Palkia fighting it and drawing its attention. Aided in the creation of the multiverse, which contains an untold number of universes. For instance, certain universe's versions of the Hoenn region contain a Reflection Cave. The mirrors in this cave each lead to other universes, each with their own versions of Reflection Cave with more mirrors leading to more universes, and so on. Equal to Palkia.)

Speed: Immeasurable, Omnipresent in its own space (Fought Palkia in torn space-time. Capable of travelling beyond time, and is stated to exceed time itself)

Lifting Strength: Immeasurable (Stated to embody the entirety of their dimension, which exists on a higher plane)

Striking Strength: Multiversal (Along with Palkia, its physical blows were tearing apart space and time, destroying the Universe in the process)

Durability: Multiverse level (Due to it being the embodiment of Time, is very difficult to kill. Can take hits from the other members of the Creation Trio)

Stamina: Extremely high, likely limitless (Constantly fights Palkia and occasionally Giratina for extended periods of time)

Range: Extended melee range. Multiversal with attacks and abilities. (Its battle with Palkia could be felt from a different space between dimensions, its battle with Palkia and Giratina was destroying regions from Arceus's dimension)

Standard Equipment: Adamant Orb (A brightly gleaming orb to be held by Dialga. It boosts the power of Dragon- and Steel-type moves when it is held.)

Intelligence: Unknown. Possibly Nigh-Omniscient, as the embodiment of time.

Weaknesses: Dialga is weak to Ground and Fighting-based attacks.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Roar of Time: Dialga can fire a blue beam from its mouth that is powerful enough to distort time itself.
  • Metal Burst: The user retaliates with much greater force against the opponent that last inflicted damage on it.
  • Tenacity: Contact with Dialga causes the attacker to flinch.
  • Hyper Beam: A powerful energy ball that Dialga can shoot with extreme force as a large beam.
  • Aura Sphere: Dialga can draw from its own Aura and fire a powerful energy sphere.
  • Draco Meteor: Dialga can create a shadow-like aura on its forehead that summons meteors to hit its opponents.
  • Protect: Dialga can project a virtually impenetrable force field that protects it from most attacks.
  • Time Warp: Being the Legendary Pokémon that rules over all of time, Dialga can control time. Examples include causing time loops, stopping time, time travel, and having multiple copies of itself exist at the same point in time. It is also capable of wiping things from space-time with this ability.
Cthulhu's not that haxxed himself, but he's resistant to quite a bit of hax. Let's test him out.

Cthulhu likely resists the best stuff Dialga can put out, makes it go insane, beats it senseless, and Plot Manipulates his way to total victory.

Though being fair, I'm not entirely sure Cthulhu's 2-B low-end should even exist.
