Without items, Roland probably just Migattes on him and, if not instantly quickdraws him with his almost 9-A+ guns, will definitely make short work of the kid

Unless he's got something special outside of items that I missed

Actually, Isaac closes his eyes separately to shoot tears from either eye, albiet in rapid succession to produce a stream of tears. It's a little strange, but that is how the character animation acts.
