Corvo Attano vs Alex Mercer

From what I can see, how stun mines incapacitate targets is through shocking them with electricity, thus knocking them out. Electricity does not and has never incapacitated or knocked out Mercer. Electricity also rarely knocks out people in real life as they do in movies or in the Dishonoured games, and they only do so when it’s severe enough to cause the stoppage of the targets’ heart at least momentarily (which causes unconsciousness due to the interruption of the blood flow). Even assuming that the stun mines works by having electricity that's powerful enough to at least momentarily stop the heart to tie in to the mechanics of knocking the targets into unconsciousness, it still wouldn't work on Mercer. Alex Mercer does not need internal organs (such as the brain or heart) to operate, has Type 2 Immortality, and Low-High Regeneration, so electricity would not knock Mercer out by default.

Plus, Mercer's fight with Captain Cross proves this such as when Mercer was able to get back to his feet near-instantaneously upon being shocked by Cross' stun baton in the gameplay (while people in real life who got shocked by stun guns or stun batons gets dazed, drop to the ground in a disorientated state and essentially become paralysed for several seconds even after the electrocution was over, thus proving Mercer to be more resilient than ordinary humans from electrocution as all it did was made Mercer roll backwards), and Cross' stun baton was shown to be powerful enough to cause miniature explosion of sparks on the ground upon Cross swinging his stun baton while he's on the ground. If Mercer was not incapacitated or knocked into unconsciousness by electricity shocks from Cross' stun baton even in the gameplay, then he wouldn't from the stun mines (which appears to not be any more powerful than the electricity shocks from Cross' stun baton, and being a stun baton also means that we can estimate the voltage and amps via scaling to the average stun baton while we would not be able to reliably estimate the electricity shocks from the stun mines as all as there's no real life equivalent to that).

Also, Mercer's tendrils hardly counts as projectiles, they are all attached to his body and are literally a part of him for basically every single one of his attacks in a similar manner to long limbs. From what I can recall, Bloodfly Alchemy only transforms projectiles into bloodflies such as bullets or arrows (which are all not attached to anything). This should not apply to Mercer's tendrils, especially proven by the fact that the melee weapons from enemies remains intact from the Bloodfly Alchemy's effects and also the fact that the targets' limbs are still with the targets, so Bloodfly Alchemy does nothing against Mercer's tendrils as they're not actually projectiles and are more like literal extensions of his own body like limbs are due to his shapeshifting.

The only thing Corvo has that remotely works is Separation Trauma, and even then the duration of the unconsciousness would be shortened to several seconds to minutes at best due to Game Mechanics (unconscious bodies don't just disappear when the protagonist walks away after all) and thus relying on the realistic duration of how long targets remains knocked out without brain damage (which Mercer does not need internal organs such as the brain for, has Type 2 Immortality as shown by the fact that he and the Hunters are not at all incapacitated from their brains being damaged/destroyed, and his Low-High regeneration is more than needed to prevent any possible brain damages in the first place), and even then it is very arguable that it would even work on beings like Mercer as one of the other users (such as Warren) even mentioned that it very likely wouldn't work as Mercer is just a sentient virus constructed from a dead individual that has never shown to sleep or get tired to fall into unconsciousness. In either case, this ability would not be able to succeed in achieving the knock out or incapacitation win condition.

I don't even know why you're continuously trying to bump this thread when it's likely a stomp either way (such as a stomp in Mercer's favour). Stomp matches does not get added to the characters' profiles.
