Location: Brisked Bear

It was snowfall again, with green snowflakes radiating the surrounding area. Amidst the fallen debris and wreckage, there were small shacks built by the remaining survivors before they too were taken by "them". Lots upon lots of these creatures are seen, but they all have dispersed and gone out into multiple islands to continue their ever-so-inscrutable goals.

"Hooo... Welp, guess I gotta look for somethin' to eat.." a boy said, his eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness as he woke up from his "bed", made from what seemed to be a pile of concrete bags. He looks down and wears his sandals, putting one foot at a time. Standing up, he walks over to a broken and rusty drawer infested by wood-boring beetles, where opening it reveals a stained grey shirt and a black hoodie, covering what seems to be a bouquet of white flowers and a black bullpup stock.

...

Turning on the flashlight as it makes a clicking sound, the boy trekked the wrecked buildings, still yawning as he looks on.

"Ahh... there's nothin' there, also that.... and that too..." he said, sighing as he continued.

There were so many guts and blood thrown around the city, though it never bothered him given he's used to seeing them on live television ever since the very first invasion. Though he is still disgusted by them given he's looking for food and not some edgy painting made by a serial killer- other rather... serial killers...

"The pizza was good, wish I could find 'nother jackpot like tha-"

A noise broke out of his out-loud monologue, he pulls out a modified P90 from his hip, puts the dial on full-auto, and start to **** the charging handle before letting go, the sound of metal echoing as he approaches the noise. He places his cheek on the stock, his grip unwavering as he trained his sights on whoever's going on to be on the other end of the barrel.

"Ah, shit... Here we go again..."

"Not exactly, they took us prisoner because they believe we have the potential to be part of them, otherwise they wouldn't waste space and kill us once and for all, but that doesn't take away the fact that we will be put to the test in the most difficult way and probably more than one will die due the work"
"Best potential huh" he said in a low tone remembering the bandit leader comment and his weak counterband

"Let's see where this leads us" Jackie thought interested in where fortune was leading them.
2 hours later...

The sun began to set as the roadrunner's advance continued. In the leader's truck, one of the gangsters found himself teleported into the place, the sight of his surroundings instantly reminding him of where he stood. Fearfully, he advanced, passing by Voyant who simply nodded reassuringly as he encountered the leader.

"H-Hi boss, what am I needed for?" the gangster asked fearfully.
"Voyant predicted an enemy, may be countered with your expertise, Tidebreaker. You need line of sight, right?" the leader explained, his follower nodding "Good, we're in the middle of all the trucks, you'll get all the sightline you need. Now, up! up! It'll be coming in a few more minutes".

As Tidebreaker climbed up the roof of the truck, the leader turned to Voyant, asking "Warn the rest of the crew!". The hunched man nodded, a "voice" calling out into the minds of everyone around.

"Waterboarder attack from South East. Target Quantity, unknown. Threat Level, medium. Man your stations!".

From a nearby hilltop, flowing water could be heard despite the deserted nature of the place. For just a moment, one could see faint glows in the dark growing closer to the moving vehicles

Jackie smiled, this could be interesting, he heard the noise of the screeching voice from inside, so he could use this opportunity, he wondered how everyone else would do

"..." The woman said nothing, but got up for the first time since she was put into the cell

"Who is attacking." he thought
His question was answered as a the sound of flowing water grew louder. The gangsters closer outside got to see the approaching threat, a ball of water somehow keeping itself together with tiny glowing spots inside. Said water ran over a car, absorbing it inside as the metal is rusted beyond recognition while the driver is dissolved by these glowing spots.

"Damnit! Die you!" Tidebreaker called out, the ball of water getting pressed down though oddly enough, protrusions began to form on the surface despite his attempts. His attempts ended up causing an unexpected occurrence, the water splitting into two bodies which rolled off in different directions.

"It fought off my control, hmm... We need to split them more, they seem to be a colony" Tidebreaker yelled, focusing down on one of the balls of water as the roadrunners opened fire on the waterboarder

(is the water effecting the car Palaria is in?)

Jackie laughing.

"Today is a great day to life, if we are luck, we would use this for escaped" he say

Elsewhere, Noah sensed the presence of one of her kind, she tried to get the Waterboarder's attention, she wanted to use this to escape and get the others back.

The woman nodded, slipping out of her cage and pulling herself up the ladder, flicking her head back to flip back her hood and hair, poking her head out to observe the battle quickly
It was a fierce battlefield outside with bullets flying everywhere, metal arms swinging about and clashing with watery tendrils while people and vehicles drowned inside the balls of water that were rolling about. Among them, one has been caught by Tidebreaker, its size no bigger than the cars going about. He seemed to succeed in restraining it until it popped. Before he could cheer however, the tiny creatures began to absorb the water in the sand, reforming into a slightly smaller ball of water.

"You know what, **** this" Tidebreaker complained before raising the ball of water into the air and flinging it past the horizon.

"That should work..."

The woman blinked once, before pulling herself out enough to attempt to flash-freeze the water balls on one of the vehicles by putting out her arms

"They don`t care for me and think i am worthless. A prisoner with privilages is still a prisoner." he replied.
"So what? Will you let others decide your fate? Friend, the world ended years ago but we are still here fighting, so that shows that you are not useless, otherwise you would have died a long time ago, just try and try, you will get better and survive"

"Should i try? No i wouldn`t amount to much anyway. But still what did i even survive for. I don`t have friends and family to go to. I am just a nobody without any higher goals or aspiration. Screw it. Lets try something instead of thinking about stuff." he thought before joining jackie

"That's the spirit, better to die in the fun way and with your head held high than to be stuck in a slump waiting for death" he said looking at Jack before walking out and seeing the chaos
