How skilled is the Knight?
though it should have basic battle knowledge, it isn't terribly skilled and mostly uses basic attacks. it has its charge, but other than that they just swing their sword, mostly using their armor and shield to tank blows.

What does jon usually start with? The Knight will try to close the distance with their charge, bashing jon with their shield in the process, and then go for swinging their sword with wild abandon. they can use their charge every couple of seconds

The stats are mostly similar, but Jon has higher intelligence while the knight has higher speed and lifting strength.

Jon skillstomps the Knight, you can check this blog but in short Jon is stated to be the greatest swordsman by the Northmen, which should make him more skilled than his father Eddard, who in just two moves killed Gerold Hightower in single combat. Previous members of the Kingsguard, such as Gerold, are considered legends, and the current members are just mud soiling their names; for example, Barristan Selmy, another knight like Gerold, implied that he could kill 5 members of the Kingsguard like carving a cake, and the Kingsguard is an elite group of knights who are some of the greatest and most skilled warriors in the entire continent.

The Knight's armor and shield shouldn't be a problem for Jon, since his Valyrian steel sword can slice through steel like so much cloth. Also Jon (12,596,153.752 Joules in his first key) is stronger than the Knight (6,404,723.940267 Joules) by a ×1.9666973736, Jon in his second key is considerably stronger than before since he went from being easily overpowered by a White Walker to equally match blows with them, as well as being as strong than Valyrian steel.

Speed isn't a problem since it is equalized. So Jon's advantages are his far higher skill, AP, stamina, intelligence and his Valyrian steel sword; while the only advantage I see for the Knight is his higher LS

well shit
the charge doesn't get equalized since it is a temp amp to the speed, but the knight cant really work around the other points
the armor should get the knight a little time, but clearly not much. just how quickly does the sword cut steel, could it get stuck in the thick steel of the shield? cus if he blocks or tries to parry the charge then the knight might be able to disarm jon with their superior LS. other than that tho it looks like jon has this.

can someone ping peppersalt? the other TABS supporter

i like the duality of this tourny
on one hand, yor vs riptor - long debates, evenly matched opponents fighting tooth and claw for an advantage
on the other hand, this

I don't think the shield can block his Valyrian steel sword, Jon can easily pierce through it or try to block or dodge the charge. Even if he is hit and disarmed, Jon still has his dagger and he's an expert at Hand-to-Hand combat, plus his advantage in durability and stamina

well, i got nothing else
TABS is a pretty simple game, and none of the units baring maybe the Teacher or the Fencer are particularly skilled in close quarters, Jon just looks like the more skilled combatant. that combined with the higher AP and dura means that the knight just has no way of dealing with him
if you have anything else to seal the deal, say it I guess

jon wins,

this combat is like the knight vs the pirate queen, the pirate queen has great abilities in combat and blocking, apart from the fact that she can kick and block (something that few units do in tabs) which would be how this combat would go.
