We literally learn that while AFO was in control, Shigaraki literally segmented the core of his soul and was guiding it from inside out to reposssess both AFO and himself.
Another feat for AFO is when he basically obliterated Shiggy’s soul.

I think youre underestimating how much screentime Shigaraki has Post MVA compared to early MHA, like maybe 50% of his appearances in the entire series are in those arcs, the rest is split between his manchild phase and MVA itself.

I mean, in the Reze movie alone Angel's spear is shown to behave like light, and the 1,000 spear in the manga wasn't glowing before, meaning something changed it to make it behave like that. So shouldn't the most simple conclusion be that it's light?

Absolutely not. Light-speed requirements are incredibly strict, there is no way in hell a spear that is tossed so quickly that it glows woud ever ever ever meet such standards. In fiction, the majority of attacks stated to be LASERs don't even count.
Angel's spears are:
- Not ever stated to be light.
- Are not ever stated to move at the speed of light.
- Are not shown to bounce off of reflective surfaces.
- Are not stated to be massless, or cause damage by irradiating objects.
Just devil physiology still covers her abilities.

Not even "lighting" or "light" attacks without any caveat are treated as light speed and tbh if you have been scaling for any decent period of time without the sole purpose of getting the highest rating possible you'd understand why.

@GunshyFever wanted to ask for your thoughts because as I was doing the calcs I was thinking the mach 500 rating would apply to her explosion boosted movement speed, mach 150 to her attack speed via explosion boosting her blows, and mach 98 her regular combat speed whilst in the speed boost.I was unsure if the mach 500 feat should directly scale to her boosting her attacks as the explosions she uses for only her fists to be boosted are much smaller.
As a side effect it would bring back the smooth scaling under mach 300 you mentioned before but it's obvs not the reason I thought about it.

For the first one, "Reze blitzes falling beam" aside from her true speed (which is a bit high as it scales to Denji but still ends up working considering Denji does become MHS+ later in Part 2) and her slow motion speed where she is using her explosions to massively amp her speed, Mach 150 is great, especially since no one else scales to it. I wouldn't mind that value being anything realistic with my knowledge of the scaling and everything involved. The only person who scales to this is the Whip Hybrid, who gets taken out by Part 2 fear boost Denji's torso. There again we have some nice flowing scaling.
For the Mach 500, she does not really need to strike with it. She can have that value for moments where she is doing exactly what is described in that scan. She can land a solid explosion while doing that and so on. I don't think this one would scale to Whip and it is really up for debate. She has shown herself comparable to Reze with explosions, so regardless of whether she scales or not, nobody really ends up scaling to Whip anyway.
Reze (Normal Speed) < Reze (Explosions) < Reze (Explosion slow-mo)? Meh... I don't think she needs multiple factors after all, just one like Katana Man.
But AHEM...
I'm half kidding, it messes with the flow, BUT gets denji that City Block level AP which helps with Smooth AP scaling. So I can bite the bullet even better considering it scales to no one. Overall, good numbers, good job with these, speed scaling is looking clean so far.

I think Denji would honestly easily upscale from most of Reze's regular explosions, he was getting speed and skill stomped the entire fight just becoming a punching bag and there's a bit where he seemingly gets blitzed and hit like 40 times and he was seemingly fine.
