Makima could do something similar- as shown with the tiny hole she made in her hand to revive "Denji" for their last fight.

What does Yoru really mean by "high ranking"? Would it include primal fears too? Since even a horsemen like control will greet her (though it kinda makes sense tbh), but even more than that, Fire Devil will also greet her. If fire is a primal fear then damn, lore upgrade for death devil once again.

Denji, having lost everything, has embraced that which Nayuta had originally offered him back at the start of Chainsaw Man War: Life as a Devil. In contrast to that Normal Everyday Life, he's living as a selfish, violent, impulsive Devil. That is the life that Yoru is offering.
However, Denji actually does have a connection to humanity in the form of Asa. We'll see how she feels and how she interacts with Denji/reacts to the life as a Devil offered by Yoru.

Also the reason I doubt Nayuta's really dead is because the befriend the reincarnation plotline is already taken up by Power. Would be redundant to do it twice.

Bold of you to assume the new reincarnation of Control will be befriended. Considering this reincarnation is literally born in it's likely that just like Makima they ain't being saved. I doubt Death devil would let such a useful and at peak potential (one of the strongest devils) just go unused.

It's absolutely criminal how someone who literally finds Denji crying cute is so much of an utterly incompetent loser- like it's not even a mask of stupidity, she's genuinely that dumb- that people in-universe and out keep lowering their guard around her.

Denji sees Yoru and Asa as the only friends he has left, even though he's uncomfortable with Yoru killing and her rampant actions as a devil, he doesn't really speak back against it because she is what he has. And Yoru loves being in control like this because it's for her own personal enjoyment due to her feelings for Denji. It is pretty sad, yes. I wonder how Denji will break free from this malfunctioning perpetual motion machine.
But we can all agree that Yoru has read the room but is still making another move because her feelings and instincts control her.
In addition to her lack of general common sense or intelligence. And simply her not caring because she's a devil.

Is there really that big an art difference in the print release? Main thing I remembered being different was Yoru's scar being fixed.

Hey, it's been better so far, so I'm ok with it.
(We've also known for years that everything published digitally is subject to change until it's released in the volumes, so it's not like it's entirely out of nowhere).

That would be pretty funny. Especially when the digital manga abruptly shifts to a completely different storyline to stay in line with the volumes.
