It would've taken 7 years to get from Ch. 98 to Ch. 181.

Side note, but it turns out the stuff Reze's limbs are made of are an actual real life thing called Detonating Cord / Blast Rope, which ignite at a rate of 6,400 m/s. I did a calc about it which puts Reze's speed at Mach 22.5 / Hypersonic+. (Considering that she can transform her limbs as it's being ignited, she'd be around 6,400 m/s or Mach 18.66 by default anyway, but concrete numbers are nice)

Also this is how I discovered that there's no easy formula for the equation of an ellipse's circumference.

Manga is read from right to left, meaning at least the first fuse panel came before Reze talking. And if Reze spoke after the second fuse panel, then that'd give her even less time to speak. (3.51cm of fuse spent vs. 3.4 cm of fuse before the finger exploded) Not that exact speed really matters since talking is a free action anyway.

So, we know that the Finger Gun is explicitly the Gun Devil's power thanks to Yoru
And Aki made a contract with Makima where in exchange for strength, Makima would get his whole being
And then he became the Gun Fiend
So like, did Makima eat Aki's corpse sometime after Denji killed the Gun Fiend and before he asked to become her dog?

I was kinda bored so I did a rough calc and the goat got wall level (2.16x10^6 J).
Who is scared of a mantis anyways?

It seems that at some point after defeating the 20% Gun Devil, Makima forced it to give her its power. But, both Makima and Yoru's possessed powers are stronger than what the 100% Gun Devil can produce, despite being only portions of its body. In Yoru's case, we know she felt guilt for sacrificing her own child for selfish needs, which empowered the gauntlets. Meanwhile, we have no clear idea why Makima's "Bang" is so strong, but we do know it is inferior to Yoru's. Makima's attack could only draw blood from an Awakened Pochita, whereas Yoru's attack can burst through the armor of Post-Fear Boost Pochita. However, speed wise they should be relative.

Edit: Makima obviously made the power of the Gun Devil her own, since once a devil dies, their powers are undone.

We don't know that for sure for Makima since that assumes Awakened Pochita is waaay stronger than 20% Gun, but we can handle that in two or so weeks when finals aren't around the corner.

So does that mean Angel was still alive when Makima pulled out the Millennium Spear? If so, then when did Angel die? Offscreen? Kinda a sad way for a semi-major character to go.
 
Makima can use deceased devils' powers, as seen with Zombie Devil. Whether Angel was dead or not I cannot say, but it's interesting that his arms were back.

Perhaps, by conquering Angel totally and destroying his ego, Angel lost his suicidality and his arms regenerated? Though that's just my hc.

Nah, Devil's powers stop being a thing once they die, which is best demonstrated with the Hybrids being no longer mind controlled after Makima died. Since Zombie's zombies kept being a thing well after Denji "killed it" at the warehouse, it just means he didn't finish the job, and Zombie was alive the whole time.

Angel legit forgot he could just drink blood to regenerate his arms. Either that or he wanted an excuse to retire.

Denji kinda sliced him in half. But on a real note, It's shown better that Makima can use deceased Devil's powers.
 
Zombie's ass was not alive after being vertically bisected for like an hour or several hours. Zombie's power is just a permanent physiological change, they can't be human again. Just like with the Doll Devil– while it doesn't die, it's stated the dolls can never go back to normal.

Alright, so I'm drafting up a reformat of the Verse page because I really don't wanna study for finals, and question: Do Asa and Fami/Kiga count as Devil Hunters considering their Devil Hunter Club / Chainsaw Church Activities?
 
Assuming the horseman category is removed, I'd call Asa a devil hunter and Kiga a devil. I think Public Safety should be distinct from just devil hunters, though.
