Doomsday can close a gap of at least 2x times with his RE (Superman powered by New Gods technology was beaten after Doomsday returned), Ki's attacks could be useless eventually because he could deflect it or just absorb them

cell can absorb by stabbing with his tail and absorbing them like how you would suck through a straw. he doesnt have to snatch them up with the tail.

we already established that it's not in character for cell to start with absorption , he'll likely use it when his zenkai gives him the advantage after seing how brute force isn't enough

i feel its very hard to rip off something when your very insides and energy are being closed in,liqufied and then sucked into something.
and cell not doing it in character doesnt really matter he's going to do it when he learns that he can't do jack shit to doomsday...and since doomsday can't really stop cell from doing that it gives him the win

k. doesnt really change much....doom's day is still gonna have his energy sucked out and his body will be liqufied. so you know...doom's day wont really have the strength to stop cell if he starts sucking...and i dont get what you mean by fast enough....the moment cell starts sucking he wins..

doesnt seem to take too much time for cell to suck people either.
he usually starts sucking quickly...and considering that he's sucking out people's body's...im pretty sure it would be harder to do something while your flesh is getting liqufied and sucked.

Insides or no insides, it doesn't matter , cell can either absorb by stabbing or swallowing the whole thing.
