Captain Falcon Speed Downgrades

Our main justification right now is the Mach 33 Falcon Punch, but there's a few problems with this. First one being that the flame-based Falcon Punch (to the best of my knowledge) only appears in SSB, so that wouldn't be canon. In the anime it's some electricity based thing.

Second issue being that the calc is flawed anyway. Not because their methods are wrong, but because he clearly does not generate the fire through friction. Not only is it way too controlled (he makes a giant falcon out of flame) on the wind up a bunch of "fire energy" is seen charging up in his fist. It seems to me this is a more tech based ability rather than sheer speed.

On top of that the other justifications, while I believe they existed, still don't have a source. That's pretty bad looking on us since it could be possible that they were just made up.

However, because he still "blitzed superhumans" (which I would like a source on as he has no feats in the games) I think we could leave him at Subsonic. If we can't find a source for even that I think it'd be best if his speed was left at Unknow.

I think there was some Nintendo Power magazine said that he made the fire through friction. However, I may be misremembering, as I haven't seen that article since Middle School.

I think I remember seeing the thing for his Mountain stats on Narutoforums once but I'd be hard pressed to find it.

He should be Galaxy level with the Champion's Belt though since the main plot of GX is stopping Deathborn from getting it lest he "reduce the galaxy to ashes in an instant."

Even so, that's SSB Falcon and not canon to his main incarnation.

At 1:30 here though he moves at FTE speeds so that may help.

Don't we have, like a ton of Smash stuff in his profile? Not to mention that the Falcon Punch originated in Smash, so it would be safe to say that he's capable of doing his Smash stuff in canon. Though that's more theoretical than anything else.

Believe it or not, that feat is on Joke Battles wikia

The Captain Falcon profile on this wiki seems to be a composite of all of his versions (Anime and Games).

Not sure how I feel about that since the Games/Anime/Comics are all semi-canon to each other while SSB is just straight up non-canon and has vastly different feats than the main series. For example, main series Falcon is Subsonic(+?) with possibly Wall level strength while SSB Falcon is Supersonic with Building level durability and likely similar AP.

No. Game and Comics are connected but separated from the Anime timeline. One example is Black Shadow who is a pawn of Deathbor in GX and the main antagonist/true mastermind in the Anime.

I agree, this's suppported by the fact that the space station Black Shadow overpowered caused an explosion visible from outside the Milky Way.

Alright, then I think he should just be Subsonic from his gunpoint-blitz and laser-dodge feats. Although @Crop wasn't he killed by that explosion?
