What stops General Blue from paralysing him the moment he's overpowered by the Shield?

Blue has used it in character against Goku and Tao Pai Pai, and Cap is weaker than both of them in this key so it will work.

The shield would be problematic but I'm not sure if it can one shot so I'll wait

Shield I think downscales from 17.5 tons, so the gap actually is signficant less than 6×, Blue can survive a hit from the shield but he likely isn't looking too hit afterwards.

Also I'm very unsure on the claim that Captain America outskills in melee range, if anything I think this is a blatantly fuckstomp by Blue using the combination of melee skill and paralysis.

In general I feel this match is being FRA-trained, there is clearly a signficant lot to discuss

General Blue also survive the explosion that scales him to High 8-C relatively unscathed, as he was shown to be completely fine afterwards when he appears in Penguin Village

If the Shield is indeed < 17.5 Tons, then it's not one shotting Blue at all, and Blue would retaliate by paralysing Captain America, as he tends to do that when he's disadvantaged

Actually gonna play Devil's Advocate here given what Imp brought up. I can't see Cap escaping eye contact based paralysis and considering who Blue was capable of contending with, the skill gap isn't exactly that wide. I'm far more in favour of Blue taking this

I also think Blue would win, his paralysis is just an insta win if it connects, as Cap isn't going to get free from it, and making eye contact isn't that difficult and Blue is used to it.

Blue also might arguably be a better Martial Artist (although his intelligence section is also a bit pushed over the limit), but he could best Crilin in combat until he used a trick like the afterimage, so Blue is at the very least comparable to Cap.

The shield is a trouble, but if Blue isn't getting oneshotted, then he can reply after being hit, but still I don't think it's enough to win most of the times.
