Doesn't matter
He needs to be close to BFR, he can't just BFR someone if they are a kilometre away and drop a book on their foot. And if he's close, he's infected. Just being near to Nurgle's sorcerers gets you infected.
What doesn't matter?

I knew that, doesn't change anything much since Funny has effectively infinite retries

No, thing is, he doens't have infinite retries. Typhus's being in central park infects New York, and all the water and oceans. Valentine goes and waits in another universe for the ocean to get close (though I don't remember Love Train ever working on the environments in other universes to begin with) and then when it gets close he comes back to find that the entire city is now infected by an airborne, bloodborne, waterborne virus. He's probably already infected at this point.

He'll get close to Typhus to BFR him, and promptly be infected by Nurgle's Rot. He'll succeed in BFRing because Typhus has no resistance against such, which likely leads to Typhus getting paradoxed.

Meanwhile, Valentine's body now has every symptom in existence, and body switching just gets the the disease passed onto the new one. Soon enough, Valentine is dead and his soul is being corrupted into a plaguebearer in Nurgle's swamp.

He doesn't actually need to be close. Also, if he submerges himself in the water he should be able to keep the plague away by BFRing it whenever it enters the water

You basically said my interpretation of what would happen but Funny doesn't need to touch or be close to another version of himself in order to switch so he could safely switch with another Funny.

He doesn't even know there is a plague to BFR, and it's more than a physical plague, it's spiritual, so it wouldn't be getting caught between anything. Regardless, if he tries to just wait for an opportunity, he's absolutely guaranteed to get infected because the longer he waits, the further the plague infects everything.

Yeah, when he has the ocean he wouldn't need to be close, Typhus would basically just need to have a foot stuck in the water and he would be BFR'd

Ok, and then the ocean is now infected from getting close, infects literally everything else on Earth, and valentine is now ****** too.

And can you provide proof of Valentine being able to BFR people from a distance like that, because every example I remember of him using his powers has him being right next to them and pushing something on them to catch them between it.

Also, what stops Typhus from just power nulling if funny tries to BFR?

In the first place... Why would Valentine even hide in an alternate dimension when he doesn't have a clue about what Typhus does, meaning he has no clue a wave of death and corruption is gonna wash right over him by staying around merely seconds?

I dont see how the Destroyer Hive constantly surronding and attacking Valentine wouldnt eventually kill him, the Hive was able to overwhelm Daemon Primarch Mortario iirc.
