Can resisting pulling and pushing forces be used for LS?

Yeah, context matters though.
But like obviously pushing something can be LS (For example, Link or Leon kennedy ******* with boulders).
Resisting is a bit more circumstantial but it very well could be, define resisting.
 
I think that this should be fine to use. Resisting the gravitational pull of something would require a continous use of force in the other direction, which checks out the requirements for LS
