Calcing a Fissure

So I am calcing a feat from Diablo 2 with the Druid's spell called Fissure, which creates ruptures in the earth. And from the full description here.

"Sending his plea to the very core of the earth, the Druid rends the Earth's very crust, tearing open volcanic vents beneath the feet of his adversaries, charring them to the bone."

So what I what to know is what formula I would need to use to calc this, I am guessing either the Earthquake formula or some sort of volcano calcing method?

I know a few things already,

The area covered is around 20.48 m^2

And it lasts for around 3.2 seconds

Any thoughts?

Yep, good luck my boye.

Actually, one more question, when finding the tensile strength of the earth's crust, should I use the tensile strength which contains the major percentage of minerals? Like silicon or aluminum?

Yeah I'd just apply the most common material.

Post it in blog form, show the work and all that, and I'll go over that.

Alright boyo. Take care~
