Buddha's Eight Consciousness isn't Precog, just extrasensory perception.

Buddha's Eight Consciousness is listed at Precog, however, it isn't actually precognition, it is extrasensory perception. In Record of Ragnarok, the soul, or will, moves before the body does, his eight consciousness allows him to see the radiances of the soul, or will, allowing him to know the target's next move. He's not actually seeing into the future.

This is why he couldn't predict Hajun's attack as his soul didn't have light, and it wasn't until his soul started to tremble that Buddha could start seeing his soul. I was also told this could count as both analytical prediction and extrasensory perceptions since he predicts your moves by seeing your soul, or will, move before you move.

Seeing something metaphysical like a soul is always extrasensory perception, and this is also most likely analytical prediction.

I feel like this would still be a form of limited analytical prediction via extrasensory perception though. Since he can still read someone's movements, he just isn't seeing the future, rather, he senses their will and then moves accordingly.

agreed with op, and about the analytical prediction part.

This seems uncontroversial to apply to me.

Thank you. Should I close this thread then?
