Shinji uses sakanade and messes with them all. Then Ichigo can use his black getsuga to cause some serious damage. Plus Ichigo has zangetsu which can turn him into a vasto lorde if he dies. Bleach team wins

To be fair here doesnt Sakanade cast illusions on people via a special gas? Couldnt the avatar team just bend it?

I'm pretty sure you can't see the gas, since Aizen didn't try to move away from it. Or maybe Aizen just didn't consider it a threat.

IIRC, the gas sneaked up on him and by the time he noticed it was there he couldnt stop himself from breathing it in.

Unless im mistaken, Aang at the absolute least usually starts off a fight using air-bending. Suppose Shinji starts out by releasing Sakanade. Wouldnt the gas just get blown away, or even back at them?

I wish I knew for sure, the gas might act like normal gas or it might be like Rose's Bankai and not be affected by normal means

Also couldnt Korra just use Energy-Bending defensively to block Getsuga Tensho?

That's assuming they aren't affected by sakanade. Honestly this fight is depending on if Shinji can affect the benders

Well for at least Korra she has Raava who can in-dependantly act on her own and communicate with Korra. She's basically like Naruto/Kurama. Even if they cant bend the gas away and get effected by Sakanade, Raava would be uneffected due to being inside the avatars and could guide them around within its effects.

Well all that would do is give one fighter the chance to counter sakanade. When the bleach team realizes that Korra can counter sakanade, either Ichigo or Hiyori can go for her only

Yea but they would still have to have Aang and Roku to deal with before they can get to her.

They would be under sakanade's power so Shinji would be able to deal with them. Shinji was able to hurt Aizen who is lowballed to city level. He should have no problem taking out Aang and Roku
