What "game" for Big Boss, or rather, what timeframe.

Since when do you need to specify a timeframe for a profile with only one key.

Since the time the profile is dogshit, and what Big Boss has varies by an absolutely insane amount depending on the timeframe.

Like we're talking a few basic abilities, or a mini arsenal of legitimate instant win hax, and anything in between.

Not to mention he's stronger or more skilled at points, some points have weaknesses others don't, even intrinsic abilities can vary, etc.

Naked Snake, Port Ops, Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes, Zanzibar Land Disturbance being the notable points in time.

It's not just Big Boss, it's the whole verse I'm going over, unironically will be one of the largest CRT's this wiki has ever seen. Unfortunately I can't just no life it.

Peace Walker is probably fair, lacks a lot of his dumb as shit hax, but still has some decent stuff like million volt stun sticks, infinite bandana, sleep and flash bangs, and firearms.

If Billy got up close with Big Boss he’d get absolutely stomped by his CQC so his best bet would probably be using heat vision against him unless BB resists it

How hot is the heat vision?
BB has heat resistance but it's super ******* inconsistent
Assuming we forego the obvious heat anti-feat (Which happened in MG2, an MSX game, long before a lot of the wacky supernatural bullshit started coming into play and before every notable heat res feat), he'd be able to withstand heat comparable to a Saturn Rocket launch (was caught in the launch of a rocket at the end of port ops, something that can melt concrete), getting caught in the glow of giant explosions, scaling to Old Snake who could withstand a microwave that can evaporate people for like 3-4 minutes and made his heat resistant suit glow molten orange and destroyed it. Not withstanding shit like TMOF being a thing, liquid and snake tanking giant **** off explosions, etc.

BB does have a shield in peace walker though, he could use that to block it perhaps? And his armor is heat res to an extent (made out of heat resistant fibers that iirc, can easily tank shit up to a few thousand c). He also has guns, flashbangs and so on he could use to play the range game and aimdodging the heat vision is definitely an option as well.

Looking at Butchers page it should be hotter than 3,773 K since Soldier Boy could withstand that without any damage yet Butchers heat vision burned him

Nah it's just the games being inconsistent and trust me, there's a lot of inconsistencies for everything, the only 100% solid thing is speed surprisingly, there's an absolute fuckton of high speed feats with like zero anti-feats.
And Old Snake being a thing kinda invalidates it due to being an age thing, it's probably more to do with just the verse being early on in development and the general level of superhuman bullshit having not yet been established (because later on the devs straight up acknowledge that the shit BB does is no longer human and he's superhuman now). But if we think of it as a time thing, every good heat feat scales to PW BB so it doesn't matter here.

So it'd probably hurt him, though I don't think it'd kill PW BB at all given he could get throttled by 10m volt currents, caught in blast waves, hit by thrusts that can melt and vaporize concrete, etc.

Butchers heat vision would definitely be his best hope of beating BB but apart from that Boss has so many methods of beating Butcher that I’m gonna vote for him
