Best Post-Crisis Superman comics?

Can anyone recommend any good Superman comics that are not Elseworld or alternate continuities, and prefereably Post-Crisis (but before New 52).

New 52 comics are easier to find (to spot out the good ones) since there's less of them. So I would like some recommendations for Post-Crisis.

Well, the John Byrne run is a good place to start, but I also liked the Grant Morrison run on JLA, and the Jeph Loeb/Joe Kelly era. Action Comics 775 which featured Superman versus the Elite is especially good.

All-Star Superman and Superman for all Seasons are not in-continuity stories, but are still recommended.
