If I remember the books correctly, Belgarion never did the constellation feat listed for his second key. That was just strongly implied as something he could do. He was joking about it to someone else, and the Orb started to suggest how to actually pull it off. I think that key should be put as "Likely at least Multi-Solar System level".

His Universe level+ sounds fishy, as the only being I remember who has feats for that would be Ul for creating the universe. There is also the fact that the problem that started the whole plot and dual prophecies looks like something that most universe level+ reality warpers and even some weaker characters should be able to fix without that much trouble, but we can let that pass because plot.

The other gods like Mara are supposed to be weaker than the Orb, Torak got wrecked by it. IIRC, the hierarchy of power would go Ul and Prophecies > Orbs > Gods. So the Prophecy, who barely even tried defending Garion from Mara, should not get a Universe level+ Durability for that. I doubt he has the entire power of a timeline, considering there were two different prophecies whose best indication of power is being "half of the purpose of the universe" and the Light Prophecy saying that they didn't fight directly since they would destroy galaxies. So I think "At least Multi-Galaxy level" would be better for his third key.

Transmutation and Size Manipulation should be added to his regular powers.

Since I have the books I can try to find some of these statements, but I warn in advance that due to the length of the series it would take a while.

Okay. That seems reasonable. Feel free to adjust the profile accordingly.

If someone unlocks it, I can adjust it. I'm skimming through some of the books looking for the exact quotes, and besides another character being stated to have enough power to stop the sun and another one starting a volcanic eruption, no luck.

EDIT: Found the thing about the Orb instructing Belgarion on how to spell his name with stars, turns out I was mixing two different events. In the first series, shortly after coming into possession of the Orb, Belgarion think about how the god Torak used it to crack the world, and the Orb starts to give him detailed instructions on how to fix the crack. I can't remember specifics of the event besides Torak splitting the protocontinent in two and the ocean surging in , but it would probably top at continental level, so not an important feat here

Belgariad Book 4, Chapter 13:

The song of the Orb was a compelling invitation. Garion knew that if he should take it up, its will would join with his, and there would be nothing that between them they could not do. Torak had raised the Orb and cracked the world with it. Garion knew that if he chose, he could raise the Orb and mend that crack. More alarming was the fact that as soon as the notion occurred to him, the Orb began to provide him with precise instructions on how to go about it.

When he tells this story this to another character in the second series, he adds a joke about how he has to be careful with his thoughts. The Orb, which is barely sentient and doesn't get the idea of humor, has to be told to shut up by Garion as it tries to be helpful again.

Malloreon Book 5, Chapter 6:

"It's not like other stones." Garion smiled. "It can be a little silly now and then. It gets carried away by its own enthusiasm. I have to be very careful about what I think sometimes. If it decides I really want something, it might just take independent action." He laughed. "Once I was speculating about the time when Torak cracked the world, and it proceeded to tell me how to patch it."

"You're not serious!"

"Oh, yes. It has no conception of the word 'impossible'. If I really wanted to, it could probably spell out my name in stars." He felt a small twitch in the pouch at his belt. "Stop that!" he said sharply to the Orb. "That was just an example, not a request."

Zakath was staring at him.

"Wouldn't it look grotesque?" Garion said wryly. "'Belgarion' running from horizon to horizon across the night sky?"

Perhaps "Possibly 4-A with the orb" would be appropriate then?

I will unlock the page in any case.

It would be more appropriate, yes. I will also put his Child of Light key at that level. The galaxy destruction is the accident that caused the original purpose of the universe to be split into two. It's mentioned twice that the Prophecy cannot engage its counterpart directly because of the damage it would cause. First time its "suns", the second it's "universe", though it's not it saying that.

Malloreon Book 1, Chapter 15

"We have our rules, my opposite and I. We're very carefully balanced and we have to stay that way. We agreed only to act through our instruments, and if I intervene in person -with such things as telling you directly what you must do- then my opposite will also be free to step over the line. That's why we both work through what are called prophecies"

"Isn't that a little complicated?"

"The alternative would be absolute chaos. My opposite and I are limitless. If we confront each other directly, whole 'suns' will be destroyed."

Malloreon Book 5, Chapter 17

"These two eternal awarenesses are not as we, Prince Kheldar. They contend with each other in myriad ways. Ofttimes, one will attempt to alter the course of a star, while the other strives to hold it in place. At other times, one will attempt to move a grain of sand while the other exerts all its energy to keep it motionless. Such struggles ofttimes consume whole eons. The riddle game they have played with Belgarath and Zandramas is but another of the ways they have used to formalize their contention, for should it ever come to pass that they confront each other directly, they would rend the universe apart."

There's also a universe statement for the Orb and its opposite, and the King of Hell thinks he could dethrone Ul if he had one of the, but it seems too much for something with so few actual feats and for statements from much weaker/knowledgeable characters.

Malloreon Book 5, Chapter 23

There was a confused babble of sound in multiple languages, some drawn, for all Garion knew, from the farthest reaches of the universe. Flickering streaks of blue shot up through the milky-red Sardion, and similarly, angry red bathed the Orb in undulant waves as all the conflicts of all the ages came together in this small, confined space.

"Control it, Garion!" Belgarath said sharply. "If you don't they'll destroy each other, and the universe, as well."

Well, I think that the two purposes seem to be Universe level+ based on the above. They are embodiments of universal fate across space-time after all.

They do trascend spacetime, even as just a possibility and not as an actual existence. Should I leave that as possibly Universe level+, then?

That seems reasonable, yes.

Okay. Thanks. Should I lock this thread as well?
