This only works if his opponent dies (Like when the normal Danny will die, he will take his place in the living world while the real Danny will be taken into the shadow realm)

Because he isn't undead. Just because you are the concept of Death doesn't mean you have died. Such as Hades or "death gods". They are the concept of death and don't fit that reasoning of being "undead". To be honest that should be removed from other "Death" profiles as it is technically inaccurate.
