By the way, The Authority didn't die to the wind because it damaged him. In the literal past paragraph it get held and lifted up by humans and it doesn't crumble. What happened is that he came in contact with the wind and faded away, fading to dust (Dust is the thing from which all things come from) and returning to the world which he came, because he was millions of years old too old and being held in stasis from dying.

He is still 10-C but people exaggerate.
 
You know a lot about The Authority, I only saw the movie.
