Okay, don't know much about Chiya but they seem to be equal in intelligence according to their pages. She has the advantage in AP so there's that. Could her being a pacifist be a hindrance to her?

Likely at first but once trying to talk him down inevitably fails she won't have any qualms with defending herself.
