Battle for 7th 9-A non-smurf: Corvo Attano vs Gul'dan

To give the Gul'dan rundown...

  • He'll basically be constantly summoning demons, most of which are 7-A or higher, to rain hell or through portals.
  • Getting too close to an all-out Gul'dan results in the corruption killing in less than a second.
  • Life Drain instant kills at range, making it a less than ideal ability to fight for Corvo in general.
Basically, if Corvo does literally anything but Time Stop around Gul'dan, he is VERY dead

I belive he is smart enough to understand as soon as he see's a horde of demons he will need to time stop. But will that be enough? i feel like guldan just zergs him down.

Corvo will just hide using his possession power to take the body of some random bird or fly or something and just make his way to Guldan, where he can time stop and kill him. He doesn't have tk take on the army.

Corvo has corruption Resistances.

Time Stop with both bend time and redirective Blink.

Not a particularly big ask, given that Corvo's main movement power also has time stop, and he can and will activate Bend Time at will.

If Corvo gets in a position where he can land his offense, it seems like Gul'dan is the ****** one.

They uh... demons have ESP. They'll be able to sense that. So piss poor idea

To corruption that basically kills you(or is basically chaos/disorder)

Considering Gul'dan has the ability to put his arm forward and life drain, assuming Corvo properly navigates the Demon Hordes, there's still risk.

Oh I wasn't contesting that, if Corvo gets into melee he eviscerates Gul'dan if he doesn't get touched lll

They'll sense a bird or insect. No reason to think they'd sense Corvo inside of them, unless there's a fear for them doing something.

Turns you into a stone monster. Some of the cultists who were exposed to the Void died because of it iirc.

Well I mean, everyone in dishonored poses that risk technically (Arm Raise and you die) stuff, but yeah, that's a risk I supposes.

I mean, even at range, Corvo can just send a metric **** ton of ranged piercing attacks at Gul'dan and either smack them or accelerate time such that they hit Gul'dan in stopped time and kill him whilst he can't react.

No like, they'd sense Corvo's soul

Also, wouldn't be the first bird that has posed problems.

That's petrification not "You exist around Gul'dan's full power now crumple down dead"

Fair

Should note Corvo doesn't have a one-shot advantage over Gul'dan, but yeah.

Why would they sense his soul as opposed to the soul of the thing he's possessesing. It's also not like a spiritual possessesion in that sense, he literally jumps into the body of another living thing from his own body, not an Astral form or something.

Lets grant that they could sense his soul and locate him whenever, could they fly or something? Additionally, Nothing stopping Corvo from chaining his possessions through the demons, going from host to host quickly reaching the spell caster, and if they can fly, then...

Touche, but insect man > birdman

I was asked to prove the corruption was lethal. I don't see any relevant distinction here to say why Corvo wouldn't resist this form of corruption.

He has an AP advantage though, and piercing can go right through similar strength targets by nature, but we agree on that.
