Batman vs. The Punisher

No prep, both have standard equipment, random encounter. This is also Pre-Crisis Batman. Who wins?

Batman has better equipment and armor, has better h2h showings, and can either aim or bullet dodge Castle's gunfire. Batman wins easily.

Batman stomps Punisher...

I don't think it will be a stomp. Believe it or not Punisher actually has some nifty and more advanced weapons than Batman such as his pym particles taht can shrink him or anyting, goblin glider, different pumpkin bombs, Haweye's arrows and DD's cane.
But still those will just prolong the inevitable. Batman dodges automatic fire so Frank's guns aren't gonna help him. He ahs the better armor, better stealth, and if things went close Batman would surely destroy Punisher. DOn't get me wrong, Frank is also a beast in cqc hell he also fights his share of superhumans, but Batamn has studied a great number of martial arts so Frank's toast.
