So James shouldn't be that much of an issue for Batman. Batman is FAR more skilled, has ranged options and explosives, and could grapple with him if needed. US might be a problem, as US could regenerate from most things Batman throws at it and could just possess Batman

How often does US use possession in fights?

US would only really go for possessions if they were forced out of James' body, as if US were to leave, James would die and that's not within their interests.

As for their possessions, US would need to enter Batman's body and i doubt that's anything Batman would let happen.

So I think this would go down like this:

Batman, through superior range, skills and explosives, takes down Jame's main body. US is forced to retreat, as he doesn't really have any other choice now that James got got by Batman, and Batman can use his better LS to keep US off of him and use his explosives to eventually bomb US into goop and prevent his Regeneration

US's main win-con would be to use James' body control & better physicality to overwhelm Batman, but honestly it shouldn't be too hard for Batman to get around this. And even if he can't, he has tranqualizers that can knock out a lion in seconds, so they should be able to knock out US (or James depending on how US's sleep manipulation works) long enough for Batman to just prepare a bunch of explosives and bomb US to kingdom come.

US's possession is another win-con, but as said earlier, Batman probably wouldn't let that happen

Sleep Manipulation wouldn't work on James's body as he's already asleep, it could definitely work on US however and if US is put to sleep James pretty much become a motionless body.

So i'll count the vote for batman and vote for him as well
