IIRC, the paralysis inducement aspect of RC is more related to the fear manipulation part. As we can see when Ichigo, Ganju and Hanatarō were almost fading by Kenpachi's presence, and also, Nanao getting paralysed and then convulsing to Yamamoto's menacing look.

During ep40 when Jugram say that the gate of the sun is destroyed , his shadow flicker and we hear a distant noise.
Could that be him using fate manip to destroy it ? Unlikely given that he never used in the manga but i want your opinions.

Unless if their souls directly correlate with their physical state, and thus have their physicals scale to their soul, their AP doesn't matter
it'd just be able to tank the AP aspect though, soul crush has like 20 different ailments, and if they don't resist all of them they'll get affected either way
And DB characters do get affected by soul crush
