On a slightly related note, it seems like Yhwach hasn't absorbed Mimihagi yet, and Ukitake is still alive. This is almost certainly copium, but I hope that means we'll get to see Ukitake get one more fight (and maybe see his Bankai).

Talking about this, doesnt the fullbring Ichigo that fought Yhwach partially awakened Quincy powers on top of rage boost? Even if damaged I don’t really see a link between those 2 with the quilge fight ngl.To test the open-mindedness of the chat, what is everyone's opinion on Ayon Absorbed Quilge being relative with Bankai Yamamoto via being relative with Fullbring Bankai Ichigo
Maybe a shikai Yama given he is ~ 80% Yhwach.

Kubo may have other ideas for this characters. We didn’t see Yhwach absorbed Mimihagi in the anime like he did in the manga. He “killed” him but is made of energy, so maybe it could regenerate?
I would pay big bucks to have the final two episodes of this Cour 3 be Soul King Mimihagi Ukitake Bankai vs Soul King Yhwach ending in Ukitake’s death.
