Is there a reason Isshin and Ichigo's mom never told the kids about their lineage when they were young? Ichigo was just getting childhood trauma from seeing literal ghosts as a kid. His mom literally died because nobody told him how to tell which ones were ghosts.

Sure those are technically techqunies but there basically just “move fast” and “power up” for a guy that basically has the powers of every faction in the series I kinda expected more from him

Yeah, I guess. To be fair, he only had training with two of those factions, and the training was "here's how you swing hard," "here's how you power up and swing harder," "here's how you power up and swing the hardest of all," and "here's how you power up an swing as hard as you used to.

To be fair to Ichigo,it's mostly a case of don't fix what ain't broken since if it works,it works.
of course eventually he's gonna run into an enemy where his common strats ain't gonna work as well,specially if he holds back and ain't as focused as he should be,and maybe then he gets turned into a Rug or something.
