Well in the anime they removed the seals from his mouth and eye but in the blu ray he’s completely sealed.
It means that the Novel spirits are forever with you didn’t happen lol.. but it was it or wasn’t Kubo who edited the blu ray? Or did the animation staff did it?
Maybe the staff members didn’t know about the novels?

The Azahiro Kenpachi novel. The events where Azashiro removed Aizen's eyepatch to talk to him in the Muken was in the anime. But the blu ray is retconing this to Aizen having all of his body sealed until Shunsui laters removes them from his face instead.

Keep in mind Zaraki vs Gremmy isn’t too dialogue heavy, and adapting fights takes up a lot less time than adapting dialogue. So I wouldn’t be concerned much.

Well if y’all remember, in the manga, when Shunsui goes to take off the restraints Aizen implies they were already off. Could be KS trickery with his appearance. Or it could be a single minor retcon, since Aizen can talk through his reiatsu. Originally Azashiro removed those seals to talk with Aizen, so it could be a case where it wasn’t decided Aizen could speak through reiatsu until later. That doesn’t debunk SAFWY being canon, it’s just a minor retcon.

Aizen's whole face will be sealed in the blu ray version. In the anime version his face is uncovered. Is not minor.
