I doubt Uryu will actually get to non-holding back Ichigo's level... considering CFYOW. If Uryu can combat full power True Shikai Ichigo, then he can probably fight Hikone and beat him just as good as the 3 that can

I assume it can be used as long as Uryu's still alive and capable of thinking to activate it, so if he gets cut in half across the waist he could probably still use it

Because Uryu betrayed Ichigo in the recent episode which is a little underwhelming if that’s all but like I’ll hold my tongue until the cour ends

It's not like the OPs for anime portray what will happen in the anime or some event. Even within Bleach this happened, an SS arc OP implicated Chad vs Hitsugaya and it never happened. And the posters can only show the duality of Ichigo and Ury, two friends being on opposite sides of the war, and not necessarily a direct battle.
