I think this episode confirms that Almighty resonated amped Uryu and VS+Sklaverei Uryu are indeed far stronger than basic VS Uryu and base Uryu. I think it solidly puts Renji on the level of sealed Shikai RG though

Yeah not really. This episode did nothing to even comment on if the Almighty resonance is different than Uryu’s power now, in fact all the resonance did was allow Uryu to unlock these powers. So no.

Either way Bankai Renji is just weaker than Bankai Shutara still anyway. So there’s nothing to really cope about. He’s just a lot closer to her in power because of his feats this episode.

Although for any who still aren’t convinced, Shutara likely didn’t go fully all out in Bankai, since it’s implied if she did she’d bring drastic harm to the realms. So Uryu is scaling to a more casual Bankai Shutara anyhow.

Or he just one shotted shut down senjumaru and upscales from renji. He doesn’t scale to senjumaru at all.

They could reveal it was sumn with the Mimihagi, the eye on his right hand for his Vollstandig. But either way: Bankai Renji is slightly stronger than base Uryu, who is only slightly weaker than the Bankai Shutara he fought. Aka Renji is just him.

There’s still a lot of TYBW to be animated, plenty of information to be revealed in episodes and blu ray booklets and Klub outside. So I agree, people can stop coping based upon information we have zero knowledge on atm and just take everything in stride.

But anyway, why do you guys think Uryu despises Renji since we see Uryu explicitly aim for his soul organs in their fight while against Ichigo it was obvious he intentionally shot not to kill (the reference to how he defeated Mayuri making that obvious)?

Btw with how Renji is being shown to use new techniques for his True Bankai. You guys think we’ll see Byakuya use an upgraded version of the Hakuteiken against Vollständig 2nd Form Gerard? Like I always felt that it was a shame that we never saw Byakuya use Hakuteiken again. Even in the manga he only used a new version of Senkei and not Shukei.

Like with how Gerard now has a cross/core weakness. You think they’ll have Byakuya destroy Gerard’s core with a new Hakuteiken? Like going by how Renji now has a new technique that’s leagues above his normal Bankai stats I could honestly see this happening in the Gerard fight now.

And literally no one is within earshot to hear Uryu say he despises Renji either. Plus tmk, the five Quincy got assigned to the five cities.

Truly we need to wait and see how the scaling goes. Since with Renji currently dead, idk how the start of the Gerard fight is even going to go. In the manga Renji and Byakuya beat Gerard up, but that’s hard to do when Renji is KOed. But for what we have seen with Renji vs Uryu, they do make it abundantly clear that Renji just performs worse against Uryu than Shutara. Meaning there’s nothing contradictory about Bankai Renji being relative atm.

Nobody from pre novel gotei scales to bankai yamamoto.
Yamamoto, Zaraki, uno, aizen has been made explicitly clear being much above the rest. Renji scaling anywhere near to senjumaru would be funny af.

Edit: if the anime contradicts CFYOW, the anime would take precedence anyhow. It’s the far more recent vision for Kubo’s story.

Bleach characters can see and perceive across hundreds of kilometers, Uryu and Ichigo weren’t out of Jugram’s sight. Lille is preoccupied sniping people and is in no way implied to be watching Uryu.

I don’t think it’s something as simple as “I like Ichigo a little more than you”. That’s extremely shallow, and just not likely with how Kubo weaves intricacies into his writing. Far more likely that there is more meaning to Uryu’s despising of Renji.
