Introduction

As a celebration for Azure Striker Gunvolt’s 10 Anniversary (birthday Aug 2014), I’m gonna be doing a multi-part verse revisions, including buffs and nerfs- before I start working on more long awaited profile completions. This is Part 3 of 4 (currently). It’s 2025 now, but it can’t be helped- I got busy.

This part will be covering some things I’ve missed, as well as Card-en-Ciel, a new game created by and only by Inti Creates.

Card-En-Ciel

While crossovers will be its own issue that I will likely address in a future CRT, there are some statistics and abilities that can be adjusted or supported with this title.

Card-en-Ciel is an original Inti Creates title that combines many characters from across their IPs into a Crossover setting. Crossover scaling is obviously a very controversial topic when it comes to powerscaling, and the events of the game itself are likely not going to get a pass when it comes to that department. However, it doesn't make it completely worthless for our purposes.
Card-en-Ciel is an IP created by Inti Creates alone, and it’s crossover concept is only fulfilled by Inti Creates having to create entirely fictional games franchises to make it work, all franchises involved are Inti Creates owned IPs (unlike say, Blaster Master Zero or Dragon Marked for Death)- as stated by Andrew Singleton (English Lead of Inti Creates) here. There are no other companies to worry about. As an example, Inti Creates worked on Blaster Master Zero, which is a Sunsoft IP- and you can see that on the bottom of BMZ’s Website, that it’s created by Inti in collaboration with Sunsoft. However, if you look at the bottom Card-en-Ciel’s Website page, there is no such thing, only listing Inti as the rights holder.

This makes any statement about the Gunvolt cast the same as statements that come directly from Inti Creates- such as their official websites or dialogue. No other company can contest them about it, because the characters belong solely to them.

So while things like the actual events of the game (and potential powerscaling that may come from it) will likely not be considered for this site, statements made about the characters in the game on or the game’s official website, or specific expressions of their powers that they didn't show in their original games should be fair to use as “something they can reasonably do”, since its just another opportunity for Inti Creates to say things about their characters.

If for some reason Card-en-Ciel statement aren't allowed, I'd like to at least work out some kind of statement on the Verse Page that describes why and include what exact things will be omitted due to that such as specific moves or statements

Abilities & Others

Every machine in iX2’s setting, including the Gravekeepers of iX2, are equipped with the Hyper Guard subroutine like Copen’s. And Copen’s Razor Wheel can manipulate wavelengths / frequencies to bypass it. Mother’s barrier is constantly adapting to this Razor Wheel to negate this ability, making her invulnerable to this effect
  • Hyper Guard works by hardening the user’s armor to nullify damage
  • DeepL Translation: “Break Shift” is a power-focused form of melee combat designed to operate the new saw-shaped ‘Break Wheel’ weapon. In addition to the “Recoil Dash,” which allows the user to perform body blows that bounce off enemies and obstacles, the “Hyper Guard,” which instantly hardens armor to prevent any attack, is available if additional abilities are installed
  • So, Copen’s Razor Wheel is able to pierce armor with this wavelength method- some kind of “Limited Durability Negation”.

Demerzel utilizes Image Pulses, meaning that base abilities of Image Pulses (such as them being based off of memories) apply to him, and any description of Demerzel’s Image Pulses apply to Gunvolt/Kirin’s Image Pulses (that being that they are “holograms with mass”)

Also, cyborgs apparently exist in Azure Striker Gunvolt 1, and Lumen who is with GV can detect “energy wavelengths” to detect people from other worlds, and Copen can detect changes in electrostatic potential

This entire list of random abilities people just have:

Gunvolt can call lightning down whenever
Vespa summoning tornados
Copen in iX1 can detect Septima
Ypsilon can create flame pillars in any location he desires
Ypsilon can fire blade beams
Nova can create light pillars to attack
Like GV, Blade can call down lightning as she wishes due to possessing his Septima in different formats just like he can
Grazie can erupt the earth to attack
Gunvolt (GV3) can create Voltaic Chains in a much more controlled and niche way
Jota can rain lasers from the sky
and can fire lasers relatively quickly without much windup time
iX2 Copen can rain lasers again
Asimov can uh... he got bullets- normal bullets
And like Gunvolt and Blade, rains lightning
And so can Kirin
Kirin possesses some sort of ranged slash attack
Prado doesn't need to align her flame pillars in a line
Prado's ice spikes can leave behind slippery areas
Black Badge's Death Procession can be manifested as a projectile
Prado can fire flame blade beams
And Tenjian can create ice constructs that are wider in range with his slashes
Copen in iX has another form of laser shots
First form Mother can fire air spheres like her second phase self
Stella has some kind of ranged slash attack, but this one is questionable

Statistics

Tenjian is stated to be an “ingenious fighter”, which by default makes him “Genius” according to our own rules for Genius, that being “in the absence of better feats, should be the default intelligence category for fictional characters with exceptional or superhuman intelligence”

Demerzel being Extraordinary Genius via Card-en-Ciel Statement saying he’s “become one” with a supercomputer, which is default E. Genius

Kirin XX has “unparalleled swordsmanship” according to the Card-en-Ciel statement, scaling her combat skill to be superior to Blade’s- as she has become an entity who has fought many battles across worlds, including fighting Copen from the iX timeline which Blade is from. She proves this by being able to deflect bullets like how Sumeragi Swordmen and Blade can.

Other Abilities

And here is just some other abilities that I missed from the games or other official media.

Gibril can turn things from blood to metal and back into blood

Doomsday Charge and Rolling Ripper pierce terrain and shields

Sumeragi bosses can seemingly survive Ferrous Fangs and Hailstorm Blade? It may be DLC but it shows us how they interact with other Septima they didn’t get a chance to showcase

Eden members, for some reason, do not resist Hailstorm Blade on the profiles when they actually do

Prism Break size changes depending on charge

Hydro Zapper users can negate electron Intangibility entirely, not just technology based ones as it works on Anthem, which doesn’t require any pendants to use Prevasion

Copen’s Bullits Convert Kinetic Energy into Electrical Energy, so some form of Energy Manipulation and “Damage Transferal” though not in the traditional sense and it’s not very useful

Mother, Copen/Lola, and, Kirin- and whoever has Teseo’s Board Circuit should have his Hacking Hax Potency as copies of the guy.

Copen’s hacking resistances scale to Teseo’s Board Circuit, as his Prevasion Subroutine Program (something you need to install like a program) is unaffected by it

Mother has Water Manip with Instinct Code

All of iX Copen's EX Weapons can bypass Aldebaran Cloth, which manipulates vectors

I also agree, although the intelligence stuff may have to wait as I recall there was a CRT that was going to remove intelligence ratings altogether for combat stuff.
