What do you think about the author avatar(not the weak representation, but the one who transcends the gods/concepts of his own fiction and who can decide everything)
It depends on how complex the verse is and how powerful the characters in it are.If that Author is similar to The Writer who transcends high 1-As and 1-As then it can be Tier 0.Simply being the author avatar doesn't mean you are omnipotent, we still use feats when dealing with such character
@TheSandman31 There are characters 1-C and higher. I do not say he is omnipotent(i don't know but fictional characters are nothing against a true Author IRL). He is a 100% author, and he can change the biographies of these characters, add characters or remove them. He does everything, as his imagination allows him. He has changed his fiction into humorous for a person. And he can call on other Author from other mangas to use the power of their characters or their techniques. It is said that he can do it for all Shonenjump.
There are also fictions with infinitely ascending narrative hierarchies, such as Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. Author level in on of the lower parts of these hierarchy does not mean much comparatively speaking.
I do not believe that umineko is a representation of the author with real power, it's just an ability to rewrite what she wants. The real author of whom I speak draws his fiction with a pencil, he creates everything. he can go from one chapter to another or crossover. Get out of his fiction. Ho, she can remove the omnipotent of her Manga ? She knows she is a fictionnal character etc ? But, of course she is strong but not a full Author and not a representation of the mangaka ^^
The principle of Umineko is stories within stories within stories, and so onwards towards infinity.
It is built of the principle that this world is also just a part of an author's imagination within a higher reality, which is part of another author's imagination within a higher reality, and so onwards.
Interesting but if "The Creator"> Uminiko, she can not be a 100% author I would say 90% via feats. It should be a representation of the author (the author must say it himself at least), she can sell her manga, delete a character that matter are rank and it is the real author. (I do not speak of power but Uminiko is an author but not unlimited ...)
The Old Man of Wandering Mountai exemplifies the fact that the author is still bound to feats like we are. Our system is very strictly based on what is shown.
