Attack on Titan discussion thread

I do find it really funny that the claim that titan bodies are 'light as a feather' is contradicted by literally every showing of titans in regards to their weight and mass. In season 1 alone there are multiple instances of people slamming into titans and being pasted, as well as Titans falling off of structures and shattering the ground beneath them with an accompanying quake or crushing buildings and people.
 
Also Reiner in his human form needing to put all his effort into lifting and carrying a Titan slightly larger than himself
 
Need to calc the hole made by the colossal at the start of The Hunters, as well as use the burn crater from that episode for the titan self vaporization feat.

Also may need to make a small adjustment to the colossal titan vaporization feat, it was closer to 1/3rd of its full mass rather than 1/2

Problem is she made the claim after all the liquid in the dead titan she was examining had flash vaporized, but some people here take it as all Titans are ultra-light beings and that as a result we cant properly do mass-related calcs for them.

Oh also, im dumb, we went back and forth about the Colossus Titan's self-destruct not damaging the wall, but neither o us remembered that the wall is made up of Titan Hardening and thus significantly more durable than normal stone.

yeah I had planned on making a thread on that but I got stuck on trying to figure out the rod reiss cavern feat

the current calc uses the destruction of the cavern roof when the actual feat of the scene is rod's titan destroying the pillars made of titan hardening holding the cavern up
I wasn't sure how to figure out how many pillars got destroyed tho
 
Neat to see that hange's bullet dodge in season 3 ep 4 is actually a bullet dodge and not aimdodging
 
Mikasa also has some bullet dodging in the fight against the anti persenal squal
 
So I'm almost done with the anime, I will be making an argument for the World of the Paths being 5D

I wonder if it can be argued that Eren has immortality via fate being predetermined that he will only die by Mikasa's hands

Dude saw the future and actively tried to change what happened in it countless times and failed, with every attempt ending at the same point of Mikasa being the one destined to kill him

Mikasa can downscale/upscale from his weakened state.

I still need to do some calcs but between the Walls being made of Hardening (Meaning all the instances of Titans damaging the Walls with their attacks would scale), Reiner straight up tanking Armin's transformation at point blank range at the end of the Battle of Heaven and Earth (With Eren being able to beat his ass post-timeskip and match him pre), and the Hardening multiplier from the guidebook, there's a very solid chance of tier 7 Titans

Finally, Tier 7 AOT but i meant the 5-D paths since i'm sure it wouldn't scale physically to the founder.

Oh yeah no nothing in the verse will be 5D in terms of stats, like the biggest stretch you can possibly make is giving Eren a key for himself with The Path where he's just whatever tier he is in the normal world physically, 5-D with reality warping, and omnipresent in speed (He wouldnt be immeasurable in speed as its moreso the nature of the Path itself that lets him move through time and experience it non-linearly)

We could think of 5-D hax and 5-D mind hax resistance for Ackermans
 
Also, going to be making an argument for putting an AP value for transformations, seeing as basically every Shifter has used their transformation as a form of attack at some point in the show
 
Armin's current large town value should also apply to Bert and Eren since they should technically replicate his explosion by transforming into the Colossal

I don't recall any transformations besides the colossals being above their regular AP

I wonder if the KE of eren's founder titan transformation could be calced, the skull and spine do whip around pretty fast

It wouldnt be above their regular AP, it's just worth mentioning that they can use it as an attack
 
I like how Eren lifting a scout cruiser ship in season 4 is just rated as Class 10 for some reason

Even the lightest World War era scout cruisers weighed 3000 metric tons, which would be Class M

Even if you used a Survey ship, it'd still be class M at 1000 metric tons

How tf did we get Class 10 out of this lol
 

I think you can calculate the kinetic energy Mikasa endured.


We have Zeke throwing rocks fast enough to reach a plane within a short timeframe. The Scouts are shown reacting to them with ease.


There is also this calc although it needs verification. The scouts will scale to this via reacting to Zeke's rocks


Another calculation serves as supporting evidence (although it needs checking)
