Ash's feats are his Pokemon's?

Why are the feats of Ash's Pokemon listed as his own? Shouldn't this article be about what he himself has actually done -- not his companions?

Those are the stats when he uses that Pokemon, their not his own stats.

It's like if I say I'm Wall Level normally but I'm City Level with a nuke. It's not my actual stats, it's my stats with that Nuke.

That's how it is for every trainer on this wiki including Cynthia, Cyrus, Red, etc. It's mainly to avoid a whole problem of revising pages if needed probably and adding about 50+ pages for Ash's Pokemon is way too much trouble to go through.

Yeah I can understand about not wanting an excess amount of pages. Even with the separate keys it still reads really strange. At first glance it looks like Ash himself is Mountain-level.

I don't know, is this like a currently debated topic? I'm not a fan of the idea that a character's individual tier rises because of a non-power boosting item or equipment they own. Having access to a tool or a partner that is strong on its own shouldn't passively increase the owner's tier by pure association.

Plus it's his Pokemon specifically, his Greninja kinda stomps all other Greninja so linking to the Greninja page would be incorrect for example.

Just think of them as tools or equipment I guess. (Gee that doesn't sound like im evil).

It's because otherwise we'd have profiles for his individual Pokemon (Ash's Snorlax, Ash's Greninja, Ash's Tauros, etc), so it's convenient to have them all in one place. Plus, it's generally our standard procedure for characters who use monsters/minions/summons to fight for them.
