I feel that Homicidal Maniac has a questionable Regeneration, which might be his advantage. However, Ash Williams has noticeably better speed, has better mental capability (though the justification for both need rewritten), better experiences (Ash has fought against more dangerous foes, while Homicidal Maniac only fights against children and babysitter, who are all not a fighter).
