Ash's Pikachu can potentially 1 shot anyone on Red's team with his Z move

Ash's Charizard could fight toe to toe against Articuno and has gotten far stronger since

Ash's greninja even in Base is stronger than Ash's Mega Lucario, who is comparable to if not stronger than his Pikachu, and Greninnja can Battle Bond on top of that

those 3 alone seem to invalidate any of Red's options unless I'm missing something
