Agreed. Surtur is 4km tall, but he doesn't grow that big until the whole explosion thing.

Please explain the bases for both the 800 meters and 4000 meters sizes.

Also, which characters would need to be rescaled from this?

Okay. Thank you for the explanation. I still do not think that we should scale Agents of SHIELD from the regular Marvel movies though. The Marvel movies ignore anything that has been established in the AoS show, such as Coulson being resurrected.

We should thereby change the speed ratings too. Melinda May fought and defeated Marcus Scarlotti who almost killed Hawkeye. Thats how everyone is getting High Hypersonic rating there

I think it would be alright to cross scale to some extent if it doesn't create some sort of massive inconsistency.

And btw starting from Season 7, Agents of SHIELD is gonna take place in an alternate dimension where the snap never happened.

Well, that just underlines that it is an alternative continuity then.

Exactly my opinion on the matter.

Many events like the Avengers and Thanos exist in Agents of SHIELD though.

In my opinion, it's fine to scale as long it's not extremely inconsistent.

It isn't recognised as a part of the same continuity. It simply latches on to some of the movie plots to get more viewers. It also doesn't seem to use the same scaling.

There doesn't seem to be a massive power difference between characters that appear in both the movies and the tv show though.

Moreover, HYDRA wouldn't be there in Age of Ultron if not for Agents of SHIELD.

HYDRA is not remotely something that AoS came up with. It was introduced in Marvel Comics in the late 1960s, if I remember correctly.

What level would the average Asgardian be?

Sif, Heimdall and other named characters belong to the elite so it is not very valid to scaling them.

I imagine 9-B or 9-A ,.

Anyway, the continuities are separate, just similar, but there is no requirement for AoS to verify all of their relative power levels with the movie producers, as far as I am aware.

It is much safer to not use unreliable scaling between them, and rather rate AoS characters by their own feats.

No he means that AOS opening happens specifically because of Shield's events

There's still the big elephant in the room- Coulson.

MCU movies aren't made with AoS being remotely anywhere in their mind. They completely ignore it. Even setting consistency aside, AoS is its own thing and movies are their own separate thing.

The connection between AoS and MCU movies is unilateral. Loki's invasion, fall of Shield, Hydra uprising, Ultron's war, and Thanos' snap all had major roles in the show. Also Robbie mentioned Wizards of Kamar-Taj and the Destroyer Prototype Gun was shown

The continuities are similar but not same. That's like saying the Dragon Ball movies are canon to the manga because they recognize/reference the story details from the manga.

AKM is correct. The continuities are similar but separate, and the movies completely ignore what happens in the AoS show.

I mean HYDRA was destroyed in Captain America 2, but only reappeared in Avengers 2 because of AoS

At least 8-A, possibly Low 7-C for Asgardians seems fine. Kree Reapera and Accusers should be 8-A for being barely able to hold their own against Asgardians

The bodies of Asgardians being fine Statesman explosion makes no sense. I mean, if you jump off the roof of a building, you fall and you die, but your body is still unharmed. The bodies of Asgardians looked pretty burned after the explosion
